Let alone Malacca, I have seen probably only 5 or 6 Focus in KL. Wonder what happened to all the stocks.

I'm based in Johor actually. Only bought from Seong Hoe Melaka cos I know the dealer and he was willing to give me a good price.

Anyway, make sure you ask the dealer to check that the steering wheel control buttons (those controlling the radio and trip computer functions) are working before he registers the car. Mine weren't working when I collected the car. But sorted out in the end. Had to leave the car at the Johor service center for 1 day for them to rectify the problem.

Anyway, very satisfied with this car. Better performance and driving experience compared to Civic and Altis. Only cons are that rear space a bit cramped, boot a bit small, and that infamous dct jerk at low speeds. But I view that as a feature and not a bug.

Maybe that's why, due to the unrest in the area for the past months.

Which branch is this?

If I were you I'd cancel the booking and just get it from another dealership. Ford in Malaysia is just pathetic beyond belief. I'm already losing my patience with them.
*
Kota Kinabalu, we have only two dealers here and got already some problem with the other Ford's dealer being not serious when we were giving the price, you know the first time they tell you the price to get you and the second time price changed (increased) already.
So not much choice here. At thirst I cancelled my booking, I was really disappointed, but they offered extra discount and extra free services, for the troubles caused. I will give them another chance.
The problem is not Ford itself but the attitude and poor professionality of Sime Darby and all the people supposed to do their best on selling and servicing Ford cars

no unrest here, only dealer not doing properly their job, trust me...
when I did ask some explanation they don't even know what to say, I guess they just messed up with the booking

Hey guys, was wondering how you ford focus users like the car? Was planning on buying the ford focus sport+ and would like to hear some of your reviews. And make it an honest review with it's ups and downs tongue.gif Hehe. The guy in the showroom that I went didn't really explain it well. He kept on telling that ford is better than any other cars and never kinda explained whats good about the ford focus :/

Booked mine early march. I was promised early this month delivery. Called them today. They said probably delay. No date was given. Was told if those booked now will have to wait 4 to 5 months. Are the focus really in great demand? Was told many units were delivered in peanang since feb. But rarely spotted one in my day to day drive on the road.

Don't worry man, you're not alone. A lot of people in KL are waiting for their Focus too, including me. Booked mine 8th of March, the branch manager promised me April (mid-April), will see how it goes.

Hi guys

Does the fuel lid lock along with the locking of the car doors on the titanium/sport models ? Afraid people might tamper with it.
