Actually I buy it for my wife. Initially thought of new civic 2.0 after a quite impressive test drive, but after tested focus, civic can go far far and play. I would say it's our first ford car. My wife prefers sedan due to bigger boot space. If for myself, sport+ lah. whistling.gif

My mum is still driving the first generation Ford Focus, a brilliant car with superb handling. You and your wife won't regret it.

Have fun with it!

Bro Seong Meng

you bought yours and you are experiencing the gearbox jerk issue ??

according to the engineer ...this is the characteristic of DSG, Dual Clutch Technology......

I can see more and more FoFo on the road in klang valley now.....Bravo....
Actually FoFo have their own closed group in FB as well and all the owner discussing on the issue and we solve some of it with sharing.....

Most car with automatic clutches, be it single clutch or dual clutch, will jerk. Its a matter of how badly it jerks only.

So it stands to reason that if the DSG jerks, so will the Powershift.

It's ok to say that most cars equipped with automatic clutches jerk.

But it's weird to say just because VW cars jerk, so will Ford. I see no relevance in that.

Referring to the poster above you.

I understand, just saying because both cars use auto (dual) clutches smile.gif

8 seconds.

By the way, just got a call from the bank, my loan is approved!
Now, my SA told me that there's nothing I need to do except to wait for the car to arrive. He said all the documents will be prepared when I collect my car. Is this true? What about my registration number? He doesn't know what number I want yet.

Hi Guys,

Any of you guys have any issues/noise with the front absorbers?
Every time when it goes over humps or uneven roads, slight " tumb tumb" sound. This sound. started last week.
Tyre pressure is 210/31

Thanks
