Does the regular Fofo has the same engine sound as the ST? I thought

during my test drive, the engine sound was nice. Maybe not as loud as a

V-Tec but for me, it has a nice "growl" to it but not artificial like if you

install custom mufflers and whatnot. Perhaps it was just my mind too

excited to drive a Fofo, although the test drive unit not exactly Malaysian

unit.

Feedback appreciated. Low speed jerkiness, jumping out of gear and wide open throttle low gear acceleration. Software patch not needed for 2013 models? Noticed reduced but still complaints on fofo FB.

Mine slight jerk from 1st to 2nd gear, and feel a bit lag b4 power kickin when pressing the peddle.

The Focus ST has a active sound symposer at the intake manifold to amplify the engine "growl" when high revving. Conversely, it switches off when cruising to minimize engine sound. It was implemented in the ST specifically to make the engine sound more aggressive when driven so.

I don't thing the normal Fofo has this.

Got your car already?

Well, you can always refuse to sign the loan agreement.

Unless you've signed it before you view the car.

My loan agreement is ready but I'll only sign it after I see the car. Once you sign there's no turning back.

Did your SA tell you what is the ETA of your car?

2 months is pretty long. Which SC you booked it from?

I called up Persada Auto in Damansara, the manager told me 2 weeks. Sadly, I've already placed booking with SDAC PJ.

I think normally loan agreement will be sign before getting or seeing the car....unless if you buy cash then you can decide whether you can accept or reject the car.

if you see the car first and somehow the scratch was made during JPJ inspection or car wash the how ?? reject the car ? anyone did that b4 ?

Well my SA told me to wait for the car to arrive before signing the agreement, and I think that's fair.

My loan agreement is ready, but I'll only sign it when my car is here.

I'm not sure how many documents, though.

Before collecting your car, ask your SA for the chassis no/VIN and goto Ford ETIS home page, enter the VIN and u will get a very detail info abt your car, like manufacture date, location, for which market & also detail features + functions that come with your car.

Ford ETIS
