Anyone drove/owned a Swift before changing to Fofo? Is the difference in driving sense/fun level is that much? I am driving normal Swift now and for me it is one fun car to drive, but watching and reading alot from reviewers saying that this edition is very nice. I am very much poisoned already.

When I say, fun level, does not mean speeding like crazy guys do, but more towards your confidence in handling it around roundabout corners with speed (legal and safe) without feeling like it will go out from the lane and whatnot.

If only the offer the blue colour of ST to the non-ST. I love that blue

colour. Looks gorgeous on Youtube videos, in which I am sure I would

like it in real life.

Does the regular Fofo has the same engine sound as the ST? I thought

during my test drive, the engine sound was nice. Maybe not as loud as a

V-Tec but for me, it has a nice "growl" to it but not artificial like if you

install custom mufflers and whatnot. Perhaps it was just my mind too

excited to drive a Fofo, although the test drive unit not exactly Malaysian

unit.

Wish I could buy Fofo now. I did asked the SA during my recent test drive. So far, it is pretty much confirmed that 2013 stocks will have increased prices. How much? Not sure yet. Plus he could only give me the "default" RM2500 discount for 2012 stocks.

Increased price? Any source?

Was never told of this and I just spoke to SDAC PJ's manager and he didn't mention anything about it.

I don't have any source for you guys but someone did mention about this in previous posts. So I just happen to

remember about it, and decided to ask the SA at my local branch. He agreed and said the prices might increase "a little

bit". Dont know how much though. Have to wait and see then. Just take it with a pinch of salt. Might just be another

way to get customers to buy the 2012 stocks off their warehouse or something. laugh.gif

Great news on the high demand. Hope that would mean better service by Ford (most spare parts are available without having to wait for too long, reasonable price for parts too etc.). This should, hopefully, translate into even better models arriving in Malaysia, same as the likes of Kia. Better choices for us as well.

What's stopping you from getting the Focus, by the way?

Well apart from financial, I am waiting for new Mazda M3, Kia K3 and perhaps the new Honda facelift Civic. All should be within the same price brackets. Perhaps, there would be changes as well after GE, depending on who actually won I think. A few factors at least, but if I am able to buy today, I would choose Fofo over current choices from other makes.

Less likely unless it is special request by the buyer, i think there is ford regulation all thier car released with standard plate and ford's frame
I dont think there is anything major in near future for M3 other then skyactive technology, looks most likely be the same. K3 will offer lotsa gadgets and accesory but handling and trasmissions i dont think will be able to surpass fofo yet.

What if by the time M3 & K3 release ford also announced they will release model with accesory and performance package? You will be waiting forever.........

GE is around the corner, but changes will not be overnight. Drafting and debating might take month, and you cannot be sure they wont introduce other charges to maintain cash flow. Politician is still politician whichever side they are. A good discount now might be better then whatever price-cut the goverment will offer later.

If you dont really need a car it is a good thing to wait or not buying at all, debt is not really a fun thing to hold tongue.gif

Yeah true, never ending cycle. Either way, I also hoping they would come out with facelift version as well a'la Fiesta.

I agree, for the price, it is one of the best. I like the handling and the interior looks actually. Although I have to say

CRZ interior is nice too tongue.gif . Just the hybrid part and the very-much lacking of backseats makes it a less much of a

choice compared to Fofo.

I agree debt is not a fun thing, but if we do it safely so to speak, we could enjoy things within our own capabilities. Like

Thanks for highlighting the differences!

My first choice would be Sport+ as I like the look the hatchback but I'm disappointed at the lack of:
- BLIS
- Full leather seats

Alternatively, may consider the Titanium+ if it had:
- 17" rims
- Black full leather seats (rather than beige)

My opinion as well. I would take Titanium with all the features, except maybe 17". I don't mind 16. Rim can be changed anytime. Black/dark coloured full leather would be nice on Titanium.

I think with that kind of performance from 1.6 turbo for Kuga should be enough for daily usage. I don't think it would be underpowered. Then again, it's only on

paper specs. Have to test drive and see how it performs. icon_rolleyes.gif

Ic. I didn't know S has stiffer suspension. All I know is the different size rims, and other bits and bobs. In S, is it considered "too stiff" for older passengers to be comfortable? Read from other reviews that it handles the uneven road surfaces very well. Does that apply to the S model too?
