instead of paying full to cc, BT it, use the cash to place in FD

1. instead of paying the bank, u delay payment with 0 cost to you. You can put the money in FD or ASB to gain some interest (Albeit little but you are earning free money from the bank with no cost to you.) I treat BT installments just like those saving plan.

2. Aeon provide reward point for BT transactions as well, free Jusco voucher for Raya / CNY.

So why not?

i have read it but it says there are some interest charges when you make new transactions on the card, so is it new transaction on the old card you currently have or the new card that you have BT to ?

WRONG... only RM1 is the service fee taken by AEON Credit Services... Maybank don't deduct anything.
It's not IBG transaction but BILL PAYMENT option in M2U.

Examples, swipe my Amex and BT Amex statement balance to AEON Watami cc. Both are existing cards. 0% interest on 6 month equal installment amount without charges.

so u can continue to use your watami cc without any charges on it after BT from amex unlike citibank and hsbc ? equal installment means total amount divided by 6 months ? am gonna make a large amount to ocbc titanium then can consider BT to watami next nod.gif

but you need to make sure your watami cc has a credit limit of at least 20% higher than the amount you swipe in your ocbc. and if you are going to swipe your watami cc for other things besides doing bt, then you need to have much higher than 20%.
