My laptop once encountered similar issue like this. Then I change my router channel to 1, by visiting http://192.168.0.1/ in my browser then change the setting. Then problem solved.  |

A lot fo the times when Wifi signals from neighbouring houses are also on the same signal (since everyone uses Auto), it could create some frequency conflicts. I have mine on a specific channel as well.

Heard that there is such limitation (unable to use/detect channel larger than 11) in the first place due to the regulation in certain countries. It is a software/firmware limitation IINM. |
