Duh.. All phones heats up when you use it for an extended time.
It's normal but other phones doesn't drain the battery when it is heated unlike 920.
Most people say they got this problem but I haven't though.

It seems that gmail is auto syncing again for me..
Removed email forwarding from gmail to outlook

I've done the hard reset before when I first bought the phone on the same day.
I used a different email for the windows store so I wanna change it. I hard reset without having any problems.

People having a lot of problems with this phone while I got none. Quite satisfied.

Looks like it will take a long time before it ever arrives.
Since Facebook bought Instagram. For now Metrogram would be a good alternative

It's either iPhone and Samsung or iOS or Android.
Can't blame them due to the number of apps they got.
It have good content so of course people are leaning that way.
I've owned an Android and iOS and what I can say about WP8 is that it lacks too many apps.
I'm missing those awesome games and how I wish Windows store has more content.
For now the developers are considering and hopefully in 1 or 2 years, Microsoft will be able to have more apps to offer as sales go up.

I'm previously an iPhone 4 owner and I made the leap to WP8.
The interface is refreshing and something new.
The learning curve to learn WP8 doesn't take long only in a few hours or so to get familiar with it.

The problem with WP8 is that the ecosystem isn't that great compared to Google Play and App Store.
There are tons of free and awesome games on Google Play and App Store but only a little on WP. The apps is also the same not that much. If you love to use a lot of apps and play gamesmaybe L920 might not be the phone for you, at least not yet until the ecosystem grows. Major app that is missing for me is just Instagram but you could still view, like, comment with Metrogram on WP but not upload your own picture, sadly.

If your usage for a smartphone is just requiring the basic apps then all will be fine with Lumia 920.

If it's just casual apps and not that much games then everything will be fine with Lumia 920.
For me there isn't any internet connection issue or even a camera issue. Portico update might fix it for some user.
So far I haven't receive any problem for my Lumia 920, but a lot of poster here does have some issues

How in the world does wifi sucks more of your battery life than mobile data. This must be a lie.

My Lumia 920 last a day on Wifi with normal usage. With daily usage on mobile data I could last half of the day.

You guys never use smartphones before? I'm quite surprised that everyone who uses the Lumia is complaining.
The battery life is the same on iPhone and pretty much other smartphones.

Not quite sure with all the complains but maybe you guys got a defect unit when it come to batteries.
Mine are just normal when it comes to battery life.

Remove apps that you are not gonna use. Check background apps and etc. The problem might be because of incompatible apps on certain apps.

You think Portico update is gonna fix the battery issue? Well think again.
After reading almost a quarter of the pages in the feedback thread for Portico update.
People are complaining that battery life has gotten even worse(most of the people).

I'm not really pleased with the feedbacks and i'll not update to Portico since it only gives a few improvement, nothing major. I'll wait for an even never update which is much more stable.

Glad you have done your research as well. I'm just letting people know.
My suggestion would be that those who already have good battery life not to update to Portico.
But those with a poor one definitely has to update it.
Definitely a hit and miss situation. I'm just afraid of having poor battery life.

Nope. I've gone to Nokia Store last weekend and they haven't sell it yet....

Experiencing frequent reboots lately. For the first time.

Disabled some background apps and also uninstalling some new apps that I download recently.
Seems to do the trick. Probably some apps that isn't 100% compatible with WP8

What does this liquid actually do. Ermm never tried this before.

For some reason I was thinking of selling my Lumia 920 Yellow.
But not quite sure what phone to get if I sell it off hahaha.

Aha. I'm also an iPhone user before. Not really that pleased with the lack of apps. Notification is slow and etc.
It's something new and fresh, but the lack of major apps is killing me
Glad that portico update lets your wifi always go on. WhatsApp notification won't be delayed anymore I guess.

Not quite sure how much i'll sell it since I only use it less than a month.
If there is a good offer, i'll sell it I suppose, and go back to iOS for the time being.

I'm not really into Android. I've tested out Android when I bought Nexus 7, it was alright.
I'm more into the Apps I suppose, where OS doesn't matter that much to me.
The more content the better for me.

Android is alright and if only Sony Xperia Z is releasing soon.

Well when your phone is on standby. Wifi seems to be off for sometime as well.
It's not always on and you receive the whatsapp message slower than usual.
If you are not on standby it's fine.

Wondering why there is no Portico update yet.
Did you guus get the Sonic CD and Super Monkey Ball 2 for free the other day?

Try Lowyat Plaza there is 2 Nokia store there, one is on the ground floor the other one is level 2 I think
