there obviously will be issues with any gadgets. The good thing about it is the opportunity to share the information and problem solving.

I personally am happy with the phone with all the shortcomings.

No lah, I'm in the middle east so over here got lots of stocks (accesories also banyak). JBL Speaker is SAR1200 (RM950) and the FatBoy is SAR345 (RM270), Wireless Plate is SAR245 (RM190), just not sure how much the Wireless Stand will be. Wanted to check it out last night but as I said the farking pak guard tak bagi masuk mall .... stupid motherfarkers. Sorry, a bit upset because of the bodoh bahlol punya negara ....

Anyway, back to topic ......

anyway, seems like over there price a bit higher huh.

edit; in UC browser, where is the option to turn speed boost on/off?
*
Hahahahahahah .... that's true but then once you are here like me for 7 years, you'll know how farking racist these people here are ... ohh well.

In UC Browser, there should be a down arrow button at the top right hand corner. Click on that and a dropdown menu will appear with some options. The Speed Mode is there.

The thing is, the blip only look visible when viewing photos ( the lock screen, photo gallery, etc). If defect will Nokia replace it with new unit or just fix it?
*
Bring it to the Nokia Center and complain. Show them your problem and if they say needs to fix, ask for a replacement phones.

that the reason i always keep my data on, every contact/ messages / photo taken will auto uplaod to my skydrive.

sadly, my 920 failed on me, turning on my Data 24/7 will heat up my devices. now my 920 toasted sent to Nokia Warranty.

You punya Lumia 920 takde ong la evilpuppy. I punya 24/7 3G on, touch wood have not had any issues BUT now I have noticed that once the battery drops like a rock, the Nokia will auto reboot. Minor annoyance. It's getting more frequent though so waiting for Portico to hopefully solve this issue.

I was told that Windows 7 is rock solid (though probably due to the limited function it has).

Did someone read about the Lumia 620 "new" firmware from Nokia, apparently Flip to Silence is back with that firmware (apparently the firmware is still under beta testing).

Hope that it will come to the Lumia 920.

I have whatsapp, skype installed and I have 3G on 24/7

I also have Mail pulling email from Hotmail/Gmail (3 accounts) every hour

Average battery life around 14 hours (pick up from charger 6AM, by 8:30PM needs to charge as I will have around 15% battery life left)

I also stream THR Gegar (Don't ask) about an hour a day in my car and office via 3G

So that's about my normal usage and I have to tell you, I cannot do that with my iPhone 4s (especially the pulling of Mail every hour)

I have encountered random reboots and it is usually after I checked the battery and when the OS realize soemthing is not right (like at 2PM the battery level is 70% but at 2:30 PM when you check again, the battery goes up to 74% without the phone being charged .... so I guess, dia punya system pening and then decides to reboot)

why my l920 send message keep fail...
some frenz i sms go never success
i change my network to 2g this gt affect the message?
anyone face this prob?help!

This is something I noticed as well. I know for a fact that if you have more than 2 recepients, you need DATA to be available otherwise the app will not be able to send the message. Kinda stupid I must say. It is treating multiple recipient SMS like an MMS where data connection is needed.

I have als experience this Can't Send Try Again error on single recipient SMS but usually after a second try it would work (but one time I didn't realize that it was not sent and it was there for 3 hours ..... patut la bini aku mengamuk ari tu heh heh heh). Not cool, not cool at all.

Its not a Lumia920 specific problem, screen problem...my old Desire HD also had this problem...sent back for warranty and got a replacement. Before buying look out for frozen/dead pixels and any problems with the screen lorh...

The guy posted a thread on this as well in the main Windows phone section. As @marauderz pointed out, the guy in China must have changed the poly-carbonate shell (mana ada Cyan sold in China) and did a piss poor job at it and probably caused the line in the IPS screen. No warranty fo youuuu!!!!

My Lumia 920 suddenly rebooted itself and got stuck at the Nokia logo yesterday. Felt enough was enough. Went out and bought an Android (Xperia TX). Need a reliable phone until Nokia or Microsoft fixes all the problems. sad.gif

Wow rebooted and then bricked ... that is seriously bad. I've had had issues with the phone as well but not this severe.

i cant live without battery app as i think it's really useful. perhaps you might want to consider trying Battery Status app as it shows the battery remaining hours. check out the attached screenshot below:

surprisingly battery consumption seems to be getting better after using my phone for approx 3 weeks (without portico update yet)!

I'm on portico since the day I bought, flashed it straight away. No random reboots.

Battery life when I turn on 3G data, 15 hours if I don't really use it, 10 hours if use to check facebook and internet every now and then. However, when 3G is turned off, I think I can get 2 days using WiFi.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

This is 55% left and it says 1 day + more, theoretically, 100% will give me about 2 days+. Took this pic 1 hour and half ago, now battery is at 52%. 3% per hour, for 100% you get about 33 hours.

If you're wondering why 9 hours down to 50%, I was out of my home and on 3G data for about 5 hours.

Conclusion, on WiFi, about 3% per hour and 3G is about 7-10% per hour.

Seriously that is not bad. Hop over to the iPhone 5 thread, the guys there are screaming bloody murder about the battery life of the iPhone 5.

I never managed to get connected to Malaysian radio station using TuneIn. Gave up and installed WP8 Radio instead and that works fine

This I don't understand. I wonder how Apple managed to make sure that their iDevices (across 20 devices range) can be updated globally at the same time. It just boggles the mind how no other company is able to do something similar to what Apple does.

Decided to check the phone for updates. Saw in WPcentral that Europe was getting their update. Didn't get any notification or whatever but then the phone suddenly started downloading the Portico OTA updates. Yes!!!!!

The update took 20 minutes. We'll see how it goes.
