nope, im using my maybank debit card with malaysian address and everything malaysia, but i set my currency to USD.

Also, when I was at the Lowyat the other day for the Roadshow, Red Lumia 920 is very limited, even on the first day.

I googled, used a random address in NYC, a restaurant's address and slipped it in as billing address lol. Doesnt mater, cuz credit card invoice will still reach my own doorstep.

But I still have to insert US address, phone number when I want to add my Paypal account. Unless I put fake address & phone number? But I don't think it can pass the Paypal verification.

Google a valid US Address. Eg. Microsoft HQ Address, Apple Store or McDonald Address..

I used credit card (Visa) to register instead of paypal, seems like procedure is the same. Yes, google a valid address, like i said earlier, i used some random restaurant's address from NYC lol. Phone number must use landline, not handphone. the first box, 3 digits i put 604 (603 if u r in KL), then 5** ****. Only 7 numbers though, unlike KL phones have 8 numbers. I tried handphone number but didnt work (starting 017, 012, etc).

It seems US has the most app, follow by SG. MY has the least app.

Just now I tried to make a purchase $0.99 with US Paypal, there is a tax. Not sure with SG Paypal.

in US, tax is state based... i think you used state that have tax in digital stuff

yup, if you want the lowest im not sure which state, but kentucky, iowa or minnesota is around 5-7%. if you put NY its 11%

When you switch to US Store, you be asked for a valid US credit card / US Paypal account to buy the app.
