guys, again, need some help regarding the mobile operator tile not displaying properly. instead of My Celcom, it only says 'Local operator network'. haih.
edit; also, is there any app that can handle turning the WiFi and/or phone to silent? its tiresome going into settings to change these values all the time. This post has been edited by ainuddin: Jan 10 2013, 06:28 PM |

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Jan 10 2013, 07:20 PM) for wifi/data/bluetooth, can use ConnectivityShortcuts... ok thanks boss.as for silent, tough luck as you need to go to settings to switch from either silent or vibrate.. note that if you just wanna turn off the ring, you can just press the volume button once then hit the icon on top right |

QUOTE(Hiruka @ Jan 12 2013, 05:53 PM) Right now Uncle Sammy givin too many Hype liao. Everywhere also talks about Sammy & iPong, Android & Apple. Windows? Sit down at home play Desktop diam²..haha IMO, with more apps in the future and a little tweak for a bit more customization, WP8 will rise high. coupled with nokia coming up and maintaining the high quality of hardware and features, WP can surely topple Apple and android. That's the ppls culture & mindset nowadays..especially in Msian |

QUOTE(marauderz @ Jan 12 2013, 06:30 PM) you'll need to recontain the file into mp4 format before you can play them on your phone boss, can recommend free apps good for some tweaking and customizing WP8?http://www.marauderzstuff.com/PermaLink,gu...9d349bc9c9.aspx note that if its a soft sub file then that'll be a problem. Maybe I'll come up with a program that can help with hard sub as well. |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jan 13 2013, 12:38 AM) In social integration still cant win windows phone till today for the people that need a big screen, they would also probably need more speed/power to do more stuff/multitask/stream their work. busy engineers on site, doctors, etc. far from a charging source, its logical that a longer living battery is a need too, with notifications as clear as daylight and the big phone space as a bonus to put a bigger changeable battery in.Honestly u need give sammy some credit they really put alot effort into the note 2 Complaing battery sux = give u 3100mah at H+ battery can last a day without issue complain lag = jelly bean fixed that no lag Real time multitasking = Windows phone tak ada comes with s-pen = with hand writing recognition to write notes or draw notes and even crop object from images » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I am sharing this not for ppl to show off but for ppl to see and weight the difference. Windows phone is not only lack of apps but lacking lots of features with tons of limitation. both phones have different market targets. samsung did good with all the time and effort they had on their phones while windows phone will also need time to improve themselves and respond to user requests on future improvements. |

QUOTE(azraeil @ Jan 13 2013, 04:19 PM) Yeap, they need to fix that. I believe it's a WP limitation and not Nokia's though ... read the video review here i think its a WP8 thing. 808 was dead in the OS but the camera was godlike, so the users focus on the camera. on 920, they had to balance OS with camera, so the camera still loose to 808 but the OS a newer and better.http://allaboutwindowsphone.com/reviews/it...t_2b-video_.php |
