They got it working by using direct IP method, the default Rooter will keep dial 753s

USe 760S method, since both device work the same

Ok, direct IP method is it USB tethering? If yes, then need install additional...will try again

http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.tethering

What do u mean by 760S method?  hmm.gif
*
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2107820

The Oz got 760S working via USB tethering.
Read this (Filter for 760S keyword), no need for more modification.
Rooter have the required package installed.

760S for for 753S too

On the software page, remove kmod-ipv6 package. (IPV6)

Wont make a significant difference but it counts smile.gif

I flashed from black widow to original firmware using SSH. After writing the firmware and rebooting, I can't load the router using my browser anymore.

Telnet/SSH doesn't work because it's original firmware.
I tried factory reset, clear ARP, using wireless to connect, all doesn't work.
Can ping the router IP (192.168.0.1 for v2.2) with response, but when i access using browser it just shows "TP-MR3420" as header while showing that it's loading...but it never loads.

Anyone encountered this before?

Seems to be my only option for now, just worried that I can't claim warranty if they suspect I've flashed it to openwrt, or they won't allow 1:1 exchange since it's slightly over a week =/

Just bring to TP LINK and tell them it happen suddenly this morning when you want to use

They usually don't question that much, I get mine swapped like this too

Why each time the router rebooted, it will ask for the SIM pin? I thought it will save it permanently?

You are using E398, you can disable it at computer using the Mobile Partner

the WWAN0 of 1043ND doesn't get any IP assigned from AC753S USB.

should I stop/disconnect the dial at AC753S?
*
Probably the data port is wrong now

Try playing around with the Data port

In case you don't know MR3420 V2 got a signal bug with those recent modem nod.gif

Dont worry about it, since you get great speed, flash to Rooter if you really concern but not as stable as stock

Last stable OpenWRT build is 2013 April, you can move to trunk build if you dont mind sacrifice some stability
