I have given up on maxis. Have just gone to yellow man and signed up the idigi138 package for the 32gb gold 5S.

Just renewed my iValue contract with contract extension by walk-in to Maxis MEP in BSC.

Was a super quick deal for an iPhone 5S Space Grey. Now I gotta find another buyer for this brand new unit yet again. lol.

and maxis can't even meet exisiting customers' demand, let alone walk in ones...

I would recommend calling up Maxis frequently to "bug" them regarding your iPhone. I registered for the original ROI, didn't qualify, got put on the waiting list, keep calling them up. The last straw was when I received the second "global shortage" SMS. I called 123, gave the guy a earful about how everybody is getting their iPhones and I'm not and blahblahblah. The CS guy was surprisingly helpful though and said I would be getting a collection SMS within 1-2 days and voila next morning I got a SMS asking me to collect my iPhone at KLCC.

For those who have been trying and trying but still FAIL to get the 5S, try out the Maxis MEP at BSC.

I didn't bother with the telcos and got them directly from the online store. Free from hassle. Only drawback is the higher cost :S

I asked the Maxis MEP BSC and they do not require any pre-order fee at all. They said many customers called to pre-order, and they were called about less than 1 week time to collect their iPhones. As such, I would be wary if any MEP requests such deposits.

not really sure about that.. but the pre-order fee is refundable once i take the phone from them.. or should i call it commitment deposit?

Good Morning. I got my 3rd or 4th sms from Maxis about the global shortage last night. This excuse is a bit stale already as there is no global shortage. Just Maxis shortage.. I'd rather they don't spam me.

anyone experience some sort of maxis called & asked if u would like to renew ur ivalue with 1099 fees for 16G instead of rm1199??? Catch is u have to pay thru CC on the phone & the item will be shipped to u within 3 days?
