In the Chinese review on Mobile, they have tested Wi-Fi direct with TV on Samsung and HTC Devices and no similar issue happen. I hope this is a software issue and can be fixed. If this is true then it is a downside for xperia z where we cant stream through xperia and watch on tv,have to download 1st before watching on tv... On top of that where can I buy the NetGear PTV? |

Anyway,i also read it in xda that there are rumours that early demo units are incomplete versions of the xperia z,the quality is not so good, and the glue that the factory applied to the screen is not so good which makes the screen have low viewing angle... The final completed production unit will have a better viewing angle and screen.. Anyone think its true? |

wifi direct, wifi miracast, DNLA
OK let me explain on the Wifi direct & Miracast wifi direct & miracast will cut off wifi internet connection, as it require the phone in hotpot mode, same in samsung, moto, HTC ... however if your are using 3G it should not be a problem there was no proper sony app to allow wifi direct files transfer, the only brand that is using that is samsung s-beam but not compatible with other brand to proper use wifi direct & compatible with many brand, try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...astfiletransfer not really 100% wifi direct way to connect but it does the trick » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Xperia Share or new name [Xperia Throw] it actually uses DNLA, which connect to router then play on your TV etc it does not require wifi in hotspot mode thus you will be able to use wifi internet compatible with almost all TVs tat have wifi, i have tried with Sony, philips n sharp tv ady This post has been edited by junsheng: Feb 15 2013, 10:02 PM |

QUOTE(ck.chunkeat @ Feb 15 2013, 09:08 PM) From this video, the screen does look better and no wash out when tilted. Hope this is true for all final product of z and zl. Unlike the tx where there exist 2 types of screen in the market. |

QUOTE(XP750 @ Feb 16 2013, 01:28 PM) Custom ROMs like CM10.1 (if and when it arrives for the Xperia Z) allows you to use the power button as shutter button. It won't be two-stage, that's for sure. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Feb 16 2013, 01:54 PM |
