Once upon a time, when there was no such thing as NFC and Bluetooth (or when they are not popular yet) Infrared was used to transfer data between two phones or two digital devices wirelessly. The point must be point to each other. Apparently, Japanese need irda on their phone, not sure why though.

But a good use example of irda is Sony Tablet S where we can use it as media player remote control. Our Remote control are all using infra red (Astro, Panasonic and everything)

First time see such cute girl do review for a phone.

OTG is supported on Xperia Z as mentioned. Battery can be a subjective matter and here is my point.

It was a demo unit that she doesnt have a chance to charge the battery for a few more times compare to the Butterfly that she is using on daily basis. If you are familiar, new battery usually require a few discharge only the full potential can be unleashed. Of course, I not sure whether this is the case but it's a matter that we can consider. As for the heat issue, we really need to look into it.

But I can agree she pointed out some negative point of Xperia Z such as MiraCast , Camera performance and etc.

iirc,i rmb seeing somewhere in that review saying that other manufacturer does not have this problem, they can connect to the internet through wifi and still connect to the tv...
If this is true then it is a downside for xperia z where we cant stream through xperia and watch on tv,have to download 1st before watching on tv...

In the Chinese review on Mobile, they have tested Wi-Fi direct with TV on Samsung and HTC Devices and no similar issue happen. I hope this is a software issue and can be fixed.

On top of that where can I buy the NetGear PTV?
