morning all, just check with you all for a thing.

I found that everytime when from D gear to R Gear, surely there willl be a 'dok' sound one, but need to lower down your window in order to listen.

but if from P to R, no problem one, but if u purposely doing P -> R -> N - > D -> then -> N -> R, sure got 'dok' sound,

so the conclusion is everytime the gear change R from D, will hav a "dok" sound.
anyone experience this too? if i'm the only one then im gonna complain to SC.
thanks

The design is like that, bro. If not mistaken the 8th gen Civic has the same sound too.

Hi guys,

I am not sure whether this has been asked before but I can't seem to find any trail if it was. Anyway, the question is do you guys know which in-car charger would work with a Honda City 2007?

I bought a charger from Avantree (model TR201) and it doesn't even connect at all with the power outlet in the car.

Any advice guys?

Hi, I just back from Autobacs and installed the "Roots Horn"
But because the horn come with two, one is high pinch and one is low pinch..
The technician advise to install the relay for dual horn, because my stock horn is only one..
In order to install the relay need to modify the wiring, I refused to do that, and only ask the technician to split my stock horn wires to two...
The technician said, cannot press the hold and press the horn too often without the relay, the horn will burn..
If with the relay, the horn will be safe....

I want to know, is it must install the relay for dual horn? Kinda worry about that now... Because I didn't install the relay. Now everything is working fine without any issues...

Can advise?

bro dont risk it, get the relay.. if not mistaken horn sharing the same fuse with gearbox.. if its burnt then cannot get into any gear at all!

hey guys,

anyone facing a problem with starting a car when the engine is hot/warm?

i'm having this issue now starting the car when it has been driven for a while. Eg. start my car in the morning, no issue.. drive the car for about 10 minutes to petrol station, and stop the car (shut down engine).. go buy some stuff (say about 5 minutes).. and when i try to start the car again.. it wont start.. it cranks but it wont start fully..

first i thought its a battery issue, but if its a battery issue, it should give me problems to start in the morning as well. And i just recently had my car serviced and ask them to check on batteries, they said it was still healthy. So i thought i wont have this issues anymore, but i was wrong!

googled around the net and saw some similar issues with other cars as well (hot/warm engine start issue).

So just wondering if any of you faced this issue before.

Have yet to have my car checked up, facing this issue for a week now.

actually general driving guide during descend is use the lower gears to slow down, then brake as needed ... hence u have a backup to stop, if you only use brake, then if that fails, this is what u get ...

I think not a recall but only for those having engine start issue, you may call Honda Malaysia to confirm
