yup this is normal.. eventho everytime i'll only start to drive after the cold indicator, judder will happen.. after few mins of driving, smoother..

i do the same thing as you start to move when the cold indicator turn off, but my car didn judder, a "clark" sound will produce from the back and can be heard clearly inside the cabin. Only happen on the first start.

If engage to D and hold on the brake for few sec and pedal, the "clark" sound will not produced

There's nothing to worry. This seems to be the character of the car and the "clark" count u mentioned only happened once during first time reverse in the morning (cold reverse) and is only one sound (one "clark", not continuous).

So you also had the same problem as me? My car is still new, receive it at end of the October. I not sure for reverse gear buy it happen when i engage to D gear

The sound is just a sound when you release you hand brake. No worry.

The CVT version I assume? I did heard a few issue with the gearbox and that's why they switch to using a normal 5 speed auto for newer model.

Try and look for at least year 2009 model since its the new design with the 5 speed auto gearbox.

The next Honda City version will also use CVT

The problem with previous CVT was that Honda Malaysia themselves used ATF-Z1, which was wrong. They should've used CVTF. After changing to CVTF there was no problem.

so.. I need to find 5 speed auto gearbox? I dont think 2009 model fall under my budget. haha..
which year they're using CVTF or 5 speed? previous years dont have?

The read aircond vent and power outlet is damn nice on these new model. So Jelly~

Does any owner feel that there is lack of power from around 0 - 30km (1st gear)? or is it just me.

Same here. Have to press the pedal harder if u want to pick up faster. The car is like doesnt want to move. LOL

City is a good car, but not in "pick up"

is like that...

after change engine oil during 5k service, pick up would slightly better.

get Potent booster installed and u will take back ur words
