QUOTE(KeyWest @ Dec 22 2013, 12:57 PM) Dear sifus, my hcity bought in 2011 has a slight judder everytime I shift to D the 1st startup in the morning. Then the rest of the day, shifting D will be smoother. Is this normal? is it because of the cold engine in the 1st startup in the morning? yup this is normal.. eventho everytime i'll only start to drive after the cold indicator, judder will happen.. after few mins of driving, smoother..

Only happen on the first start. If engage to D and hold on the brake for few sec and pedal, the "clark" sound will not produced

This seems to be the character of the car and the "clark" count u mentioned only happened once during first time reverse in the morning (cold reverse) and is only one sound (one "clark", not continuous).

The CVT version I assume? I did heard a few issue with the gearbox and that's why they switch to using a normal 5 speed auto for newer model. Try and look for at least year 2009 model since its the new design with the 5 speed auto gearbox.

The next Honda City version will also use CVT http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/official-new...ial-review.htmlThe problem with previous CVT was that Honda Malaysia themselves used ATF-Z1, which was wrong. They should've used CVTF. After changing to CVTF there was no problem.
