led light for aircond button is faulty, change in service center? or outside can do?
my fuel door jam cannot open , need to use a card to open it. anyone fix before how much?
*
Outside can do for the led light but must make sure the shop is familiar with honda city cuz it will dismantle ur whole console to replace that small led.

For fuel door cant open this might be the rubber thingie gone, so the metal door lid when push cannot touch the small rod. If not wrong, SC is selling RM40 for that rubber else you can DIY like below

The rubber cap on the circled area

Try to stick some tape or anything that can make it thicker for it to touch the rod on upper pic

You're probably right, the car is quite heavy for the 1.5l engine.. highway cruising is good though biggrin.gif
Oh no wonder it does feels a bit bumpier compared to the stock tire.. maybe I should go back to 185/55 for my next tire change.. its hard to find 195/55 yea?

I will, just waiting for the stock filter to get dirty enough for replacement  brows.gif
*
it shouldnt be more bumpy cuz youre using the same profile 55, mayb you can try reduce the tyre presure..that might reduce the bumpiness...

Basically for E-spec is using 6j rim which means the max we can go for width is 205. There is the 3% upsize rule where our current stock tyres size diameter do not EXCEED 3% if you're going for a bigger tyres. Because of the change in size, your speedometer readings will also change. However if you upgrade below the 3% rule, your speedo reading wont so different.

205/50/R16 our speedometer will only have a diff of 0.2% or 0.1mph faster. With this spec your speedometer readings will be 0.2% greater than indicated. When your speedo reads 30mph you will actually be doing 30.1mph

195/50/R16 our speedometer will have a diff of 1.4% or 0.4mph slower. With this spec your speedometer readings will be 1.4% lessor than indicated. When your speedo reads 30mph you will actually be doing 29.6mph

195/55/R16 our speedometer will have a diff of 1.8% or 0.5mph faster. With this spec your speedometer readings will be 1.8% greater than indicated. When your speedo reads 30mph you will actually be doing 30.5mph

As we can see, the best optimum spec which is closest to our 185/55/R16 will be 205.

If wanna change rim then

205/45/R17 is the best option... as only diff of 1.0% or 0.3mph faster.

That's a good insight. Some of the mp3 files does come in 320k format. I removed them, going to try again.
If you use 17" rim, doesn't it limit your turning radius, causing your tire to rub against the wall?

I am too looking forward to getting a larger rim but did not think about it since that was what I was advised by Honda.
*
ya thats why to minimize the diameter to it original state, recommend to use 45 wall profile. Else if larger then might rub the fender abit

Hi,

Why i noticed there is a lining in btween the skirting and the stock bumper in the photo
http://www.mudah.my/City+2012+Modulo+Body+...ee-19306092.htm

but in this one got no lining

http://www.acm-motorsport.com.my/ViewCatal...RowId=2&Sortid=
was it the latter one installed without some gap ?
*
Ori/Oem genuine got rubber lining, those that doesnt apply the rubber lining is either imitation or oem but wanna cut cost and omit the rubber lining. The rubber lining helps prevent water to sip inbetween the bodykit which will wear out the double sided tape.

Ah cool, so for 17" rim, the best tire profile to go while maintaining maximum wheel diameter will be 205/45/R17. What will be the 17" profile to fit the 205/45/R17 tire?

I managed to solved the pen drive issue. It is caused by custom allocation size being more than 8k byte per unit. Higher than that and the player will not be able to read anything, too low and your songs might take too long to be indexed.
*
Best is to get a 6.5jj or 7.0jj to accormodate the 205 nicely.

Ah, good to know. But I'm curious why didn't it defaulted to 8k byte per unit when you formated the pendrive?
Any thought on 15" rim? Does it look weird with a 205 tire? I might downgrade to a 15" rim on my next tire change, just not too sure about the tire size.
Is it very obvious? I can't hear anything when the car shift gear.. maybe you can try recording the sound and show it to them?

Anyone else using this type of door visor? I'm thinking of removing it since it is causing a lot of wind noise..

*
It depends on the Rim width. Take stock S spec 15"rim for example, its a 5.5jj rim which means the max it can use is a 195 tyre, if use 205 then it will bulge out abit. Sure 15"rim can take 205 as long the Rim width is 6 to 7inch jj then no problem, my old Satria Gti also runs on a 205 with 15"rim.

I'll be using a different rims so I'll try to find one with 6 or 7 inch jj. From the calculator, the closest size I could go for is 205/55/R15 or 195/60/R15. Will that hit the fender you reckon?
*
Dont think so as both also within the 3% upsizing tyre size. Should be alright

Total diameter is 60.85cm for stock 15"rim
Total diameter is 60.99cm for stock 16"rim

Total diameter is 60.65cm for 205/55/R15
Total diameter is 61.50cm for 195/60/R15

Receipts? Hmm probably can.. need something heavy to hold it in place..
This is what I thought exactly at first.. seems like the compartment can ngam2 fit a pack of 20's.. but I quit smoking already.. haha. but yeah I guess maybe can put your cigarette there for smokers biggrin.gif
*
Then can put home or office access cards, candys/kit kat, and receipt as mentioned ... thumbup.gif else really nothing much can be done on that small compartment..

How about the selling price when sell your first hand car, is the price will be add on a bit because of extra thing installed like DVD, GPS, lock installed??
*
If selling to direct buyer then might able to leverage the selling price with the addons you did earlier. If direct to used car seller, sure they take using market price with or without extra acc. They even encourage you to remove it and revert to stock if possible.

Can you try and upload somewhere else? Can't download from 4shared for some reason..
195/50/R16 tire on mine.. look funny a bit since the lower 50 profile. Haha.

user posted image

Don't think you can use 205 with the stock rim, max is 195 only, if you want to go 205, need to find wider rim otherwise the tire will look like donut or might not even fit.

Pretty sure I read somewhere you need to use 205/45 since it might hit the fender when your turn the wheel.. this one I'm not so sure though.

Yoko C drive is fine, but if got budget go with Michelin. I heard its nicer and quieter.
Can you take photo of the mud flaps?

Pretty sure outside accessories shop can do.. go to SC sure they charge more. Huhu. Tried lelong/mudah/lyn or other online sellers?
It's a well known issue with the car.. terrible FM reception. Don't think SC can do anything, my old Swift is like this also.. maybe the head unit itself is tuned for other Asian market and not Malaysia?

You can probably try and change to a longer antenna.. or switch to a different double din head unit  tongue.gif
*
Not sure bout the FL City but pre FL looks ok with 50 profiles though. Below is with 205/50/R16

205 is possible but will protrude abit more out compared to the rims. Some regard this is 'rim' protector lol

drool.gif Looks ok o...abit diff with bro winterwish ones, maybe urs is 205?  hmm.gif will it hit the fender when u turn the wheel?
How much per tank u get after u change to 205/50/R16?

Thanks xin...  notworthy.gif
*
ya its a 205 but that is not my ride, i pluck it from other owners. For me, never hit the fender before but i heard that if replaced to aftermarket 16" rims then it would hit the fender cuz the offset.

FC is about the same only previously i get about 400-450km per tank, after changed i get 380-440km per tanks also ...
