Tried Shell 95 on my city manage to get around 450km with 5 person loaded in the car from KL back to alor setar.

Tried Petronas 95 from alor setar back to KL with 3 person loaded and full of stuff (back of the car drwan down) inside the boot manage to get 450km also with 1/4 remaining

both journey cruising around 110-140 km/h and my FC showed 16.5l/km

the only problem i faced is when using shell 95 my engine knocking noice is not so significant and can feel the power while using petronas engine knocking noice is significant on 60-80km/h while above 120km/h the engine noice is reduce but underpower

anyone faced this problem?

Your City is E spec with 16" rim? What knocking noise   How is it like?

yup my city is E spec with 16" rim and stick tyre with 220 front and 210 rear

erm not really know how to express in word form lol is like the metal knocking sound "ping ping"  which i can hear from the engine bay

fc seems to be good for constant crusing at 80-90km... managed to get 18.2km/l with slight jam and town driving. not yet done 1st service too.. :-)

wanna ask....what is the GPS navigation for E+ ?is it Papago ?

Is it very loud? Din't complain to SC? So far haven't heard any sound from the engine bay, only recently there is sound coming for the driver side the small storage area under the air cond vent after accidentally hit a big hole on the road

hmm. after i switch from caltex to petronas, i also feel the noise is louder and the power weaker ady.

hmm...then maybe is the mixture of the fuel from different brand caused this problem not really sure

My car responded the same when using petronas.

I think those problem most propably are caused by the mixture of the fuel as my friend 2 years old city used with petronas 95 most of the time doesn't has the problem as what i faced eg underpower n knocking noise

Will try to raise this problem to sc on my next service

Soon will reach my 20,000km service, is there anything major?

For my case and experience, shell has the worst performance. car juz feels sluggish, i'm sure that's not a placebo effect. My practice, i will try to empty the tank to the max before refilling each time to have a feel on the fuel. Petronas= best power, Petron = midrange power, Shell= worst. have not tried BP/caltex
