QUOTE(kons @ Oct 13 2013, 12:20 AM) stick it ownself. just need to buy the rubber which comes with 3m tape. yeah do agree.. the noise from tyres and harshness is quite bad for a new car. been driving it 1 week. 90% the road noise is damn audible. comparing with my another car waja 7years with half worn tires, the nvh is much better than city. quite satisfied with the outcome. however, it only cut down the wind noise, noise from the tyres and road is still quite bad. |

QUOTE(winterwish @ Oct 13 2013, 11:52 PM) Soundproofing the floor and door will reduce the road noise significantly you think? Its quite expensive, just wondering if the the effect is significant than maybe can consider.. yeah..soundproofing the floor and wheel arch will reduce the tire noise. door however would depends. if you want solid thud door then its advisable to do doors also. for city the floor soundproofing is very bad for a new car, and i believe once the tires are worn out and few years later , the noise would even louder.. |

QUOTE(JaysonGoh @ Oct 26 2013, 10:21 PM) Another record for FC on my City, between did anyone know what's the beep sound after we turn the ignition switch to II/ON? Not the beep sound that warn you when you open the door but the one it usually beep 6 times then it stop before or after you start the engine. My 2cent thought it's something like engine checking so I only start the engine after the beep sound stop everytime |

QUOTE(munster0606 @ Jan 14 2014, 11:04 PM) Went for 5k service this morning, opt for Premium package.. cost me RM157.60 there is no need to use engine oil treatment as for me it is useless as your engine is still very new and given to that, as long you change your oil on time, your engine will last you very long where i don't foresee a reason to use those extra treatment sold/recommend by mechanic... bear in mind engine oil itself do contain additives that will protect & cleans your engine while running. It is a simple way for them to earn your money. Labor = Free Fully sync oil = RM120.4 (-20%) Oil filter cartridge = RM26.08 Engine oil treatment = RM49 Washer Drain 14mm = RM2.10 Total = RM197.58 (-RM40 eService voucher) = RM157.60 I wonder is it a must to get engine oil treatment? |
