Guys, the Taffeta White is a solid, not metallic paint right?

Yup, white and black is solid. That's the reason I choose silver. rclxm9.gif

Hi, my car clocked 26k and going to celebrate 1st birthday next month. For FC, from my experience, do check your tire pressure. Besides that, do control your right foot. It does make a difference (about 10-20%). My style of driving is gentle acceleration and while cruising, I’ll let go the gas pedal on n off. (totally off while cruising down flyover/slope instead of still holding on the gas pedal).

I've tried both scenario :-
(A)- holding on the gas pedal 100% while cruising and 100% while cruising down flyover) - > can achieve 210-220 km till the needle touch half tank
(B) - Let go the gas pedal on and off while cruising and 0% while cruising down flyover.. -> can achieve 250-260km till the needle touch half tank
You'll notice a remarkable difference. One thing I like about this car is that there is less engine drag (that slows down the car speed) even if you let go the gas pedal.
Hope this help improves your FC.

Went for the 1st service today. Surprisingly, Honda practice not to change anything. I think others car manufacturer change the engine oil during 1000km.

I noticed fuel consumption quite high. Full tank only managed 300 - 320 km only. How about you guys ?
*
Mine 300-320km I'll still have at least 1/3 tank left. I'll achieve average 230km with half tank left (needle touch half). My daily drive PJ to KL to work. Morning smooth traffic but in the afternoon jam way back KL-PJ. Tire pressure is 31 psi at petrol station (using tire measurement is 34 psi). Service at Honda using fully syn oil.

my fc not good either. full tank of around 28L can last only 320KM....light footed and 90% city driving with normal traffic jam and traffic lights.

i think mainly is because the car always driving at gear 1 or 2 or 3.

even if when u start to move smoothly with gear 5 it will take a while for the fc indicator on the panel to move from 10KM/L to around 16KM/L
*
Mine when accelerate, the panel show 6KM/L, once reached the desired speed, i.e 90KM/H, the panel show 16-18KM/L. But my style I wont hold on the gas pedal 100%. I will let go the gas pedal for 5 second (co'z the car can actually cruise without slowing down that much in 5 sec) and then press slightly again the gas pedal.. something like on and off... every 5 sec... I wont be able to do that trick from my previous car (the speed will reduce fast once I don't press the gas pedal). Everytime I let go the gas pedal , the meter will show max 40KM/L.... that's how I manage to get better mileage from my car.

Happen to pass by the famous klang tire shop last weekend and asked any Toyo tires size suitable for our Honda city e spec. They recommended 195/55/16 since there is no 185/55/16.

Has anyone tried Toyo tires? I'm currently on the stock CPC2 tires. Wish to get some input which one is better. Continental CPC2, Michellin XM2 or Toyo tires.

I'm thinking to replace the noisy stock tires too...

Considering Continental MC5 with size 205/50R16, since Michelin Primacy 3 ST "no size" for City stock rims...
*
The only option for 16" is only Michellin XM2 or back to original Continental CPC2. Still no plan to replace now. Scouting around since still half way to go... Will be maintaining the original rims tho... biggrin.gif

Hi guys,

I'm currently using original stock tire (CPC2 185/55 R 16) for my H.City for 15 month. Mileage clocked almost 40,000km. Tire tread still have 50-60%. Currently searching for a better tire of the size of 185/55 R 16. The options I've found are:-

a) CPC2 (the same tire currently using)
b) Michellin XM2
c) Goodyear Excellence

Any recommendation of a better tire for replacement? Was thinking of replacing back to CPC2 since the performance is acceptable and tread quite lasting. Thank you.

from all 3 above, i do think CPC2 is the best.. if you want to widen yr tire a bit, go for NT8000.. im using it, perform better and a bit low noise than CPC2..  thumbup.gif

Hi, what size you're using for NT8000?

Have review others thread about tyres, XM2 is good also, maybe u can try for XM2 since you have exp with CPC2...

Or could be another option, from 185 to 195 to be use for C Drive 2 (195/55/R16), this is good reviews from forumers as well.

Ok, thank you. Will check out C Drive 2.

You can try the accessories shop at Jln Sg Besi. Right after BHP petrol station. The shop is at the famous wan-tan mee at night. Workmanship is good.
