QUOTE(kbyao @ Oct 23 2013, 08:05 AM) i vote for Shell after try all except caltex, i could hardly find a caltex station around my place.Petronas - engine loud, sluggish BHP and Petron - soso, but FC seems a little bit better. Shell - powerful, give me "wow" performance seems like even we all own the same type of car, but have the different performance even using the same petrol. |

QUOTE(nike89 @ Oct 24 2013, 02:02 AM) you maintain at 60-80 km/h all the time? Yaya within that range on highway, but after turn out highway on the normal road back with many traffic lights and turn it dropped a bit to around 19km/l. I think the secret to reduce fc is constantly cruising as mentioned by winterwish beforethe highest i can get only 16l/km.. maybe speed does matter alot. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by JaysonGoh: Oct 24 2013, 02:24 AM |

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Oct 23 2013, 12:59 PM) For my case and experience, shell has the worst performance. car juz feels sluggish, i'm sure that's not a placebo effect. My practice, i will try to empty the tank to the max before refilling each time to have a feel on the fuel. Petronas= best power, Petron = midrange power, Shell= worst. have not tried BP/caltex You should try Caltex !!!nothing, major would be 40k |

QUOTE(alanwch @ Oct 23 2013, 03:59 PM) Happen to pass by the famous klang tire shop last weekend and asked any Toyo tires size suitable for our Honda city e spec. They recommended 195/55/16 since there is no 185/55/16. I'm thinking to replace the noisy stock tires too...Has anyone tried Toyo tires? I'm currently on the stock CPC2 tires. Wish to get some input which one is better. Continental CPC2, Michellin XM2 or Toyo tires. Considering Continental MC5 with size 205/50R16, since Michelin Primacy 3 ST "no size" for City stock rims... |

Caltex giv me d best performance also...
But FC so so... got 14km++/l for my jb trip... Slow slow when i go,around 110kmph... Fast fast when i'm back, around 150kmph... I would say d fc is not much different for me whether i'm fast or slow... |

QUOTE(ascll @ Oct 24 2013, 03:43 PM) I'm thinking to replace the noisy stock tires too... The only option for 16" is only Michellin XM2 or back to original Continental CPC2. Still no plan to replace now. Scouting around since still half way to go... Will be maintaining the original rims tho... Considering Continental MC5 with size 205/50R16, since Michelin Primacy 3 ST "no size" for City stock rims... |

Hi, I wish to install the front, side, and rear skirt (modulo). Can anyone suggest a good installer/supplier?
What kind of material is good? PP, PU or ABS? I read from other post in LYN stated quality arrange is like PP(best),PU,ABS. Beside, if I wanted to install the rear spoiler as well. I need to do wiring right? So, it will void the warranty right? |

QUOTE(JaysonGoh @ Oct 24 2013, 10:57 PM) Yes indeed, but I hardly get this kind of FC as last time my driving is quite a little bit aggressive I always drove from JB to north city and there are only 2 lanes until Malacca. So is quite dangerous to hog at that speed because the buses and trucks always speed up to 120km/h. Some even don't care the cars in fast lane and straight away over cut the vehicles in front. Always almost happens accident. From Penang Bridge is 3 lanes and until near Juru Auto City is 4 lanes, thanks for the remind will take note of it Better install a camcorder/blackbox in your car to protect yourself. Cheers. |
