First you can try to restart your phone? Is your 3G data on?

BTW, did your 8X suffer any random reboot? i read over at 620 thread, it seems others (not all) are experiencing random reboot...this random reboot thingy really make me thinking whether is nokia firmware issue or WP8 itself...

i believe the random reboot has to do with the live tile apps crash with the OS.

my 8x did suffer random boot once for a while.

ohhh, that would explain one thing: no matter how i play with the phone without data and wifi, it wouldnt suffer the reboot thingy...

well, so far no crash or reboot problem happen to my htc 8s (512mb)

only out of memory (lag) happen where the live tiles paused at the background if i press the middle button instead of back button (exit)

also screen takes a while to wake from sleep when i use airplane mode (offline).
feels like hibernate function of windows desktop

Ok, there is a lot of things to consider. From Router configuration to Wifi access points, device settings.
-Which router brand & model are you using? Who is your Internet Service Provider?
-Can you see your SSID (Name of your wifi you want to join)?
-Is it a public wifi hotspot or house network? Can you connect to other wifi networks?

Not all WiFi devices are capable of connecting to all channels. Kindly ensure that your router's WiFi broadcasting channel is not set to auto. Manually set it to channel 1 (most WiFi devices are able to search / connect), 6 (common channel) or 9, 10, 11.

no need to go nokia care, its their standard procedure they will always said " need to update software .... bla bla... "
then endup leaving your phone there for 1~2weeks.

1st just ask here!! members here can help you more than nokia care unless you got a hardware faulty unit!! i dont see your's is faulty, maybe reset will do.

there are other problem too.i cant open office and wallet also.

Try a hard reset. Probably a screwed up cache. Upon setting up the phone, did you sign in to your Microsoft Account? If you did, please proceed to perform a hard reset. Backup everything, go Settings, About, Reset phone.
