What? Do you earn EM again on your redemption? If true, it means "effective cost" of EM to redeem must deduct by the EM earned on redemption? Is this a standard practice also across other flyer programmes? Please explain bearbear kor.

it just a mistake from their(Enrich) system.. it happened a lot.. Redeemed ticket not entitled for points.

Explain? I have no idea. Took a flight which was redeemed via EM and they credited EM back to my ACC.

My common sense tells me it shall not happen but I don't see the need to clarify with them. biggrin.gif

Same thing happened to me for my LHR-KCH flight in Feb. They credited me with 10,786 EM even though it was an award ticket. Must be a glitch, no way an award ticket will still earn miles.

MH is finally upgrading their angle-flat business class seats!

"The new Malaysia Airlines business class seats will be "a world-class leading lie-flat seat", says Mueller, with "very large dimensions, and be positioned above the industry standard for business class."

Do what you do best instead of jack of all trades. I hope he can turn MAS around but at the same time have a feeling he will cut off some of the enrich benefits ( miles, seat availability)

Yup, I'm going ahead with my redemption as soon as I accumulate the remaining miles required. No point hoarding if the flight and dates you want are available.

Based on what other airlines are doing it might take 1-2 years to do the complete makeover. Total around 25 planes.

The original plan was LHR, CDG, MEL, SYD but passenger loads to MEL and SYD are so low that they can't fill the A380 especially since AAX is very aggressive there.

I see. Coz i rmb their aussie route dont have A380, so they actually just park the 2 extra A380?

And any idea which route they going to upgrade the flat bed first? Were thinking AMS and FRA this year end, which high chances they gonna drop

No they don't fly A380 to SYD. And they won't because they would want to maintain 3x Daily . If you are aware, MAS is restricted to a limit of around 1000 seats per day for an Australian destination by their govt. So the opportunity cost would be 2x on A380 or 3x on A330.

Searched the web. Looks like MAS A380 is making a 9 days cameo appearance in SYD !
