QUOTE(sadukarzz @ Nov 5 2024, 10:32 AM) I think there is plenty of cards that are way better than RM3.5 per 1EP depending on your usage. Just be mindful for ewallet there's a 1% charge these days, and not everyone will be able to spend 3k on ecomm.Alliance Bank's RM3000 cap each for 8x tbp (ecommerce + ewallet) is an example. With RM6000 spending (3000 ecomms + 3000 ewallet) you can easily earn ~RM2 = 1EP Or Maybank's world elite overseas ~RM2 = 1EP So it really depends on your spending pattern to maximize it For MBB, there's the monthly limit so might not be able to change in time. HLB one is much easier if one is lazy, furthermore it also includes insurance and utilities which I think a lot of other credit cards exclude these days. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Nov 10 2024, 05:53 PM) Just be mindful for ewallet there's a 1% charge these days, and not everyone will be able to spend 3k on ecomm. For now, Shopee / Lazada wallet still eligible as well as Setel (until its over). For MBB, there's the monthly limit so might not be able to change in time. HLB one is much easier if one is lazy, furthermore it also includes insurance and utilities which I think a lot of other credit cards exclude these days. But till then, I think its still worth while to consider. Of course there is other loopholes that you can exploit, but you will have to dig it out yourself. Overall, it still comes down to how tight you wanna keep things in order to earn the miles / points. Some may forgo the points for convenience, some chase it down to the decimals, personal preference. If one is serious about earning points, even your spending channels will change just to get the miles / points. i.e. If you can choose to buy your groceries online (assuming same price or with discount vouchers) as physical store, you would choose to spend with your CC. i.e. If you can choose to pay your bills via aggregators instead of direct payment to avoid MCC code identification. i.e. If you can choose to purchase via official third party than direct channel i.e. RM1 = 1KFmiles if you buy in Kris+ for iPhone 16 pro from SG (plus its slightly cheaper, so can cover the CC charges) versus you buy online via Machines / Shopee / Apple which is RM2 = 1KFmiles. fuzzy liked this post

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Nov 10 2024, 03:02 PM) i got ambank enrich but on enrich still showed 0 carry forward. so i wonder how? as normal silver is after 30. I think it's the apps not updated and it should be 2025 instead 2024? If got Ambank enrich and you got 20 points currently, I believe 10 is carry forward next year.Btw one thing not sure is whether carry forward program will still valid in 2025.. |

There is no indication on the app to show any carry forward to 2025 yet.
Only what was carried forward from last year to this year. |

Alliance VI still one of the best card for ewallet and online spending as it gives you 8x TBP.usage lets say nil retail swipe ewallet and ecommerce primarily overseas Another card you can definitely consider is Ambank Enrich VI for overseas spending that gives you RM1 to 1EP. |

Enrich got promotion now, 42.5k business class to Tokyo, very tempting.
There're 2 flights to Tokyo daily, anyone knows which flight will have better experience? This post has been edited by tientien: Dec 4 2024, 04:19 PM |

I think Tokyo redemption in business is the only reasonable use of Enrich Points these days. There're 2 flights to Tokyo daily, anyone knows which flight will have better experience? Although it all got paused for now, orignally the outbound overnight MH88 and day time inbound MH89 were meant to be on the brand new A330-900neo which has the Suites style Business seat. The original start date was 1st March but you may want to push to as late as the promo allows (June?) to have a better chance. |

"We'd like to inform you that starting 1 November 2024, our 10% Bonus Points campaign for Bank Points conversion will be temporarily discontinued until further notice. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding." The webpage was updated last week to remove the bonus. Pity anyone planning to convert on 1st December. |

Anyone can help advise experience ... if I want to redeem flights with points for family member (not travelling with me) , how do I do this aside from calling ENRICH cust.svc? I tried via app and website , passenger name and enrich ID is under my name. I can change name but not enrich ID, there will be warning / error saying "frequent flyer number provided is invalid". Is that the process ? |

QUOTE(zstan @ Dec 23 2024, 05:16 PM) No no no, don't transfer your points, it cost money/points.Just redeem, but the BUG (I have called them many times already but typical Malaysian company, no solution) is that you cannot enter their Enrich number, it will capture you number. You will get an error message at the end, but the booking WILL go through. Then you call them up (SC) and tell them to manually change to the pasenger's number. BUT, if you book together with them, it WILL allow you to enter additional passengers' names and numbers. The system (both webpage and App) is buggy like hell. |
