QUOTE(a13solut3 @ Feb 28 2024, 04:20 PM) just an example KUL - NRT - KUL May 1 - May 8 39,200 pts + RM1682 tax SIN - NRT - SIN May 1 - May 8 63,800 pts + SGD136 tax Point difference : 24,600 (assuming RM0.025 per miles = RM615) Tax difference : RM1200 hmm, i remember the points is far more negligible when i checked previously. I can't find the screenshot but it was in consideration few months ago. I ended up flying to Melbourne instead via SQ as I have some KF miles. yes, the lowest point i found is 24k sin - nrt, tax really big different...thanks for the tips This post has been edited by xiaomoon: Feb 28 2024, 04:26 PM

Just curious, what if i missed the first flight (no show) and direct board from KUL-NRT? Do u think they allow me to board in KUL? The difference quite big and stil worth it

I'm from Johor, so i can just ask someone to fetch me into SG. But, if you do KUL - SIN - KUL, sometimes the fare is not that expensive either, can just use AA over.

Depends on where you are and what's the repositioning flights cost. Those in Johor, public transport to Singapore probably not much different to getting to klia. Those in KV, there are many flights KUL SIN KUL, sometimes very cheap.

QUOTE(staticxtreme @ Feb 28 2024, 12:24 PM) what cny promo? you mean buying by cash instead of redeeming EM points? erm the promo with bonus enrich points just a quick update: miles redemption via UOB, redeemed on 28th, already can see the miles have been transferred to my enrich account with 10% bonus on top. Is it possible to redeem outbound business and inbound economy ticket in single booking?
I can’t do that on both website and app.

Just a question.
Those that redeemed for bonus conversion points recently, will MAS/H makan the bonus points first b4 using the converted points? Cos the bonus points got an expiry date of a year right? So this means that they SHOULD take/makan the bonus points first upon flight redemption right?

General guideline is, the closest to expiry points are used first.
