the only way you can save money for tax is fly from Singapore, then transit at KUL. Provided you have time to do this kind of stunt.

I'm from Johor, so i can just ask someone to fetch me into SG.

But, if you do KUL - SIN - KUL, sometimes the fare is not that expensive either, can just use AA over.

just a quick update: miles redemption via UOB, redeemed on 28th, already can see the miles have been transferred to my enrich account with 10% bonus on top.

Redeemed my KUL/TPE return tickets via miles, 36700 miles  +RM400 (go with economy basic back with premium flex)
