1. Maybankard 2 American Express (but be-warned, the conversion rate is minimum 2.5%, please read T&C).
What do you mean the conversion rate is minimum 2.5%?
You mean the forex..?

EDIT: Oh, never mind. I just read your blog. I guess you do mean it's 2.5% above the spot rate.

Hmm... BUT, wouldn't be using the money changer/bank rate give a better picture?
Because if you're not using your credit card, the money changer/bank rate would be the next best rate available to you?

Qatar also allows me to enter MH. As long as one world /partner should be able to collect points.

Sure.. You will get.. just that you will get less points compare to flying with MAS exclusively.

Im flying with Qatar Airways last 2 week to Paris (return) and only honored with 33XX points compare to 90XX points with MAS.. yawn.gif

Bro, the image got nothing to do with what you mentioned. But glad to know you earned 30K FREE Enrich Miles smile.gif

I have few thousand Qantas miles earned from using my Woolworth's Rewards card but not enough to redeem for a domestic flight, haha.

Anyway, I just posted at my blog - Maybank 2 Cards Premier - Comprehensive Review of The No.1 Best Credit Card in Malaysia and Possibly The World too.

The new AMEX RESERVE is the best credit card for local spending to earn Enrich Miles.

In my article, I also mentioned that we are unable to redeem Malaysia Airlines ticket to LA anymore sad.gif But we can do so with other airlines under the One World umbrella by simply calling Enrich Miles.

bro MAS use A380 for both Paris and London, 777-200 for Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

I play a little with the system with business class; seems like to all 4 europe destination if you buy 1 way ticket from KL to respective destinations the tax is flat at RM740.

The difference is coming back
1. London - 352.25 GBP
2. Paris - 235.54 EURO
3. Frankfurt - 222.69 EURO
4. Amsterdam - 171.70 EURO

So it doesn't matter where you fly into but get out from Amsterdam for cheapest tax at RM15xx. or if you insist A380 the best is return ticket via Paris Rm18xx

Ha ha. It's the airport that charges tax plus MH usually has fuel surcharges (YQ). Fuel surcharges are painfully high on MH Enrich redemptions to the point that it doesn't make sense to redeem for economy class tickets.

I love the US based airlines in this sense. Mileageplus and AAdvantage both don't have fuel surcharges on most flights and their partners.

The other day I play with the EM ticket redemption section, they said can use MH to redeem oneworld alliance ticket too, but no matter how i try, it only show MAS operate. So EM only applicable to MAS operate flight?

If you had read my article mentioned above where I gave an example (and even in the post/reply above, read "carefully"), you would have gotten the answer to your question.

Hey you took my quote out of context tongue.gif

But yes I do love the US based airlines in the context of miles and the lack of fuel surcharges.

OK, so EM can use but by call only.

Still I prefer I can check by myself without calling long waiting CS. Easier to do comparison.

Furthermore, I am from Penang, would check if there is any code shared flight available. Tiring of transit at KLIA.

Not entirely an Enrich question but aside from Amex MR and Citibank rewards, are there any other cards in Malaysia that transfer to Avios? I googled and did a quick search on the banking sites a bit but nothing came up.
