I asked the CS rep to redeem all the points to Enrich Miles, I was told that I could only redeem for 1000 Enrich Miles (and got to do it online)!!!

I am really pissed off with HSBC and I am seriosuly considering to cancel my HSBC VS soon.
That's too bad...they use such marketing gimmicks to compete with MayBank Cards perhaps...

On another note: will there be an Enrich Mid Year Sale this year?
Ya, I'm waiting for the sale too ...

You can redeem enrich miles for Oneworld flights but there's no 50% off and the award charts are on the high side.

http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enri...s/oneworld.html

Other Oneworld partner miles are more valuable. As an example, I just redeemed 125k Avios miles on Cathay Pacific and got a one way KL to New York in Biz/First Class. You need 204k Enrich miles to do that... sad.gif

Enrich miles are seriously low value on Oneworld. If you're actually flying, it's probably best to park your miles under AAdvantage.

Hey, may i ask how to redeem with Avios miles? Does the Maybank Treats Points can convert to Avios miles?

Below is part of what I just posted in my Facebook Page:

I have like 30,000 Reward Points with my HSBC VS. HSBC claim they have the best Enrich Miles Redemption at 3000 Reward Points = 1000 Enrich Miles. Therefore, based on these figures, I should be able to redeem for 10,000 Enrich Miles.

Avios is redeemable via Citibank only. Maybank TP can only be redeemed for Enrich and Krisflyer.

HSBC Credit card rewards are pretty crap, and the conditions annoying.

Eg. Lounge access limited to certain amount of people (impossible to know what number has been reached anyway)

I haven't used my HSBC Premier MC for a long time, collecting dust at home!

Not to mention need to spend RM12K for RM50 voucher which the last 2 times they sent me the wrong vouchers compared to what was requested online. Need to go to HSBC branch each time to return and credit the points.

Didn't even bother last times as no HSBC nearby

I only have Citibank gold, best to check their website for details. Conversion is similar to Maybank TP to KF.

I only wish I could transfer Maybank TP to Avios, way more in TP than Citibank points.

https://www.citibank.com.my/MYGCB/ICARD/rewhom/entryPre.do

Select Airmiles then your card (gold in my case). The list includes British Airways Executive Club which is Avios.

7000 points = 1000 miles

Today, I published my article I Earned 15000 FREE Enrich Miles for Purchasing American Airlines Tickets Which Also Earn Enrich Miles where I bought American Airlines tickets using my Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX Reserve.

In the Foreign Exchange Thread I posted below:

Transaction Date: 30 April 2014
Posting Date: 5 May 2014 (Monday)
USD4,320.64
RM14,342.60
USD/MYR Conversion Rate = 3.3195545
USD/MYR Spot Rate on 2nd May 2014 (based on Friday's Closing Rate) = 3.2661 (BNM website states 3.2690).

The conversion works out to be less than 2% which is pretty good compared to my other Visa Infinite cards.

American Airlines and Malaysia Airlines are both part of the One World Alliance, and therefore we can earn Enrich Miles with AA too.

Initially when I entered the Enrich Miles Account in AA website, it was accepted but somehow they requested for it again after I made payment and is was then I kept getting an error message. Therefore finally had to call American Airlines Malaysia Contact Number to have the Enrich Miles keyed into the system manually by AA staff.
