ah....the discounts only apply to journeys starting and ending in kl....no discount is starting from another point within msia....so the domestic sector will need to be added as extra...

I estimated I wasted 95k miles, for 2 return redemption, one with and one without the online 15% discount...

wow enrich miles has best promo ever now, 45k for business return darwin. previously their promo only for last minute tickets. looking forward to their future promo.

this time is exception rather than the norm. previous promotions give 50% only on full flexi tickets, and travel period is rather last minute.
that's why I blew all my miles on sydney biz return for 2.

Why bye bye enrich? What alt u choose? Beside enrich only krisflyer the best for euro n us.

I did the same to Melbourne....but cost me double that pounts....

1. limited long haul besides London
2. removal of 15% online discount
3. promotions normally only 30% max discount for base fares
4. short travel period for promotions. i normally cant plan my holidays with 1 month notice. need about 3 months.
5. popular routes like HK and Taipei still using narrow body regional aircraft. feel not so worth it for biz class.
6. high fuel surcharge (as i know) except to Japan.
7. frequent special air ticket promotion make it not worthed to redeem miles (e.g. recent biz class promo to Hanoi 800+, Bali and Bangkok 900+)
8. higher redemption rate for non-premier card (maybank) as compared to redemption for AM or Krisflyer

I tried their The Pier Lounge in HK recently, was very impressed with it.

Problem is, am and kf seldom can get confirmed redemption....always waiting list....

Fair statement, I also find the fees on Krisflyer to be incredibly high, compared to Enrich and especially Asia Miles. For AM the limitation is almost always the KUL-HKG segment though, and if you limit yourself to just premium economy it's not so bad.

Don't forget the ability to book OneWorld and Star Alliance flights for all 3 Enrich, AM and Krisflyer too.
