Hi, first time post in thread. view the V3 page from page one till current page.

Gain alot knowledge from you all, planning to buy prius c too. Still waiting a best time(best price) buy prius c.
As i know year end discount was pass, I have to wait year end for big discount. But tax exemption is end by november, means I need buy it before october is safe. Anyone know Hari Raya(august) have big discount or not?

The government anounce tax reduce will lower down price of prius C?
Thanks in advance for answer my question..... notworthy.gif

If everthing goes as what it is.... this means that PC will be tax somewhere last quater of 2013....
3 years down the road .... PC price will surely go up... even now; price on 2012 and 2013 has gone up abit by RM300.
If the government reduce the tax to 0% ..... the price of PC will still be higher that what of the most PC owner in 2012.... (this is call inflation)
Note that currently PC cars is still 0% import Tax.... until last quater of 2013....

Hmmm...... Since this is abnormal, should report to toyota to fix it...
next round service should question them.

IINM, 3 yrs or 100k, even for batt....

My calculation for the battery cost..

Lets say use for 400k KM so the operating cost per km will be 8k/400k so is RM0.02/km

Lets say use for 200k KM so the operating cost per km will be 8k/200k so is RM0.04/km

Lets say sell the car before the above mileage 0 cost.....

Besides, some is getting like RM0.05 or RM 0.09 per km is almost same as modded 150cc or a 250cc bike....(figures obtain from fuelly.com)

If put to consideration of both, per km petrol is only about RM0.07 to RM 0.13, still lower than conventional cars

The tire pressure part is really true for

220kpa, i can get only about 23km/l

whent i pump about 260kpa easily can reach 28km/h above, of course sometimes bouncy....

another is the handbrake if the technician puts to tight, it takes longer time to get to 23km/l above....

Anyone can share their experience....

I specifically toyota ask them to make it loose today, this is because the last service after they service they follow toyota procedure to tighten the handbrake if they think there is a big free play.... hmm.gif hmm.gif
