There's a debate about Japan Ori been the superior and have perfect condition, but some buyer already proven it wrong with picture of his Miku Append from Japan having 2 left feet instead of one each, so in the end it's ur luck whether or not u encouter human error or mistake from the manufacturer. As for me, half of my figma are from China and half from Japan and I can't see any different between the 2. The only exception are those exclusive which only sold in Japan, they do have better quality and joint, however I think the reason behind this is because they're made in lower quantity and they are exclusive which is more expensive so the QC is done severally to make sure every each of them are good, again not really relevant to China/Japan ori debate. PVC figure wise u have to ask others because I don't collect any >.<  I hope other collectors will help me with PVC figures. Anyway, your good explanation cleared my doubt regarding the difference between China and Japan version. Thanks. very bad customer service from hlj.com ... bad comm skill .. bad email handling ...
i received an email like this... QUOTE "This message is a final warning to let you know that your HLJ order (shown below), which has been reserved for you for over a week, is about be cancelled due to lack of payment. " is a final warning ... << wow .. they warned me ... QUOTE "IMPORTANT: Payment for this order has now been overdue for at least five days. If payment cannot be completed in the next three days, this order and any other orders you have placed with us will be cancelled, and your order privileges suspended and your account locked. If special circumstances are preventing you from completing this payment, it is important that you contact us at trouble@hlj.com to discuss the matter and avoid having your order(s) cancelled." they gave me an ultimatum too ... i felt this more like a threat to myself ... sheeshhh... and the funny thing is ... this is their own mistake ... i've made 3 orders from them ... this email i received is the 1st early order i made last week... all in stock items.. not preorder or backorders ... they failed to charge my card, so i update my card details again ... then, it's pending for processing since last week ... the later 2 orders i made this week, to add into their warehouse... they successfully charged my card without any problem ... now today, i received this email pulak ... final warning .. failed to charge my card.. bla bla... this shows how poor they managed handling of orders ... already updated my card since last week, they should have just charge the pending 1st order i made ... instead they did for 2nd and 3rd orders without problem .. and failed again for the 1st order ... and warned me about it?? already rage-email them ... see how it goes ... really2 bad service .. |

Hey guys. I just wanna ask. I've been into revoltech quite a while now. I was thinking, does the Revoltech Sengoku Basara Series No.095 Ishida Mitsunari can be considered a rare item as of now?
I've bought this product a long time ago, and it is still MIB. I'm thinking of selling it since it was just a matter of time before I'm done with hobby stuff. But i just wanna know, is this a rare/ pricey item?. Any info would be grand, please lend me your advice

GSC is well known for their release date delays every month. It's just way too many supposed releases and then come mid of the month, they realize it's not possible to produce them all and end up delaying more than half the list. Revoltech Batmobile tumbler
not sure the scale, if the cockpit really can b opened & fit a revoltech batman figure, definitely wil get tis. but as my guess, it shud b small scale arnd 1/36 scale.

i'm wondering about the SHF line as well.. seen some interesting looking figs from there..
anyway first timer here, lurk around sometimes, but finally got myself my very first Figma mainly got it because she comes with excalibur AND caliburn.. plus lily is way out of my budget anyway, still very happy with this.. got it for a VERY reasonably price too   just out of curiousity though, i heard of KOs of lily, but none of this.. how much does this normally go for and is there actually a KO of this one? i'm just wondering if i nabbed a deal i think i did though |

Silly question from a noob here, but having seen the picture's that Kelrys posted of his KO - how do we tell if its real or a KO? Especially if i am buying something online either thru here or say eBay? As i tend to collect my figures MiSB i won't really know i unless i take it out and have a good look at it. The box art and the pix made it look pretty real. Is there anyway to tell from the packaging its a KO?
I have seen that shop in LYP and know its a KO because of pricing but what is there to stop someone from passing of KO's at the "real" price! chogokin vs figma vs RAH
my opinion is chogokin is good at robots. when it comes to anime character. sure got something weird. RAH is very good at characters, try google "RAH toys". it's like a cheaper version of hottoys. But their anime character is a bit weak, see RAH BRS. figma...you all should know about figma. lol |

Any play arts collector here? Suddenly feel that some of the play arts looks very nice. Especially Solid Snake. Anyway, may i know does the new Play Arts Dark Knight Rises Catwoman comes with an improved knee? Coz from the photo it looks like a huge improvement compare with other models such as Plays Arts Chun Li & Cammy. Of is it just angle gimmick? |

Hi there, my latest purchase on Mandarake hit a snag. Paypal, in their infinite wisdom believed that my latest transaction was due to unauthorized access and have reversed my payment minutes after I got my payment confirmation. After having to clear up the matter with Paypal and clarifying that it was legitimate, the damage had already been done. Mandarake wants me to pay with my card instead.
Of course, after inputting the required card info and pressing the submit button, what I got was 'Credit card transaction error.("1G97")', the very thing that made me sign up for Paypal in the first place! My options are pretty limited as I could try it with my secondary card (VISA debit, I know Mandarake doesn't accept but it's worth a shot) but if that fails, is it possible to appeal to Mandarake to allow Paypal again? Amiami - cheapest in price, best packaging - most flexible as they allow combination/decombination of orders - but stock runs out fast Hobby Search - moderate price, good after sales service - cannot cancel after 1 week order, many things "cannot" - they do have a "restock" category, quite useful for searching HLJ - higher price, acceptable packaging - more stock Play-Asia - higher price - do not like their packaging mandarake - good place to look for sold out or exclusive items - be careful of the opened/unopened tags *mostly using SAL |

At last, I managed to pay for my Mandarake order! They were kind enough to extend the deadline so after some calls and ID verification with the bank involved, the payment went through. I also learnt that my Public Bank card does not work with Mandarake unless used with Paypal. Al-Rajhi however doesn't have this problem.
Just to add to klaymore's post, Mandarake prices can be lower if there is 'box damage'. Also, always check the item description for 'stained' or missing parts to avoid buying them. Damn bad luck, broke my ex:ride Spride.05 : Saber Motored Cuirassier handles on the 2nd day I received. And some more lost 1 handle, wtf! How to fix this?

I don't think you can check item unless you ship with at least registered SAL. Normal SAL is like normal mail. If lost, then byebye liao lor. Last time i kena the special Haruhi Figma + PSPgame, it was released during CNY and i naively used SAL. Item never came

Well, practically Amimi is cheaper than any other place at normal times for normal items, sad they do not take in any limited items for figure, most of the times. I use only SAL (registered, cause generally safer) so far because it's at least 25% cheaper than EMS and most of the times, it reaches my place around 1 week or so, never got up until 2 weeks. |
