I downloaded some HD trailers. Surprisingly though, it was stated as 720p, but when I checked, it was less than 720. Somewhere like 1280x539 like that. I use KLM for my HD playback. No problems whatsoever.

Unless your computer casing is small, avoid mATX motherboard at all cost. laugh.gif I have had lotsa lotsa problem with mATX motherboard, from PCI slot->IDE controller->IRQ thingy->not enough PCI slot for E-MU 1212M tongue.gif  laugh.gif ->bla3

its the microfly....so m-ATX is the max it can go..

i also wanna use integrated everything....trying to save as much power as possible.... coz the HTPC will also be a torrent rig.

hence the reason why i plan to get only 1 stick of ram...logic is..1 less item to consume power tongue.gif

@adamismadi

try test some 720p or 1080p source on a 1920X1080 display (LCD TV or Monitor) does it play it smooth with onboard GC.

My SFF mobo 69G + 4800 + is not working well on 1920X1080 when doing a 720p playback, if run 1080p source.... is totally juttering all the way... hope to hear ur feedback soon smile.gif

720p not necessary means 720 vertical resolution.
720p derives from 1280*720.
as long as the movie has 1280 horizontal resolution, such as 1280*539, it is still regarded as 720p.

If you try to minimal the power consume, beside you can choose 1 stick of ram, there is a more important component to consider also.
is processor and graphics card which are consume much more power if compare to ram. the option wide is depend on your requirement to select.

who can help me? I connect my PC to Sharp LCD TV via HDMI. My LCD TV only can detect the PC signal once. If I switch my LCD TV to other inputs such as astro, or DVD input and back to PC input again, my LCD TV longer able to detect the PC signal. To enable LCD TV detect the signal, i have to restart my PC. Why?

i specifically wanted the dg45fc since it is mini itx... since the mini itx case is tiny and does not look too much like a PC.
most people would not think it is big enuf to be a pc! kekekkee....
the MI-100 mini itx case also is so nice since it hides the dvdrw drive behind the flap.

i love it. :-)

why not you post a pic and show to us how it looks like? A pic tells all the story.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/720p

720p has a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, a vertical resolution of 720 pixels and a horizontal resolution of 1280 pixels for a total of 921,600 pixels. The frame rate (in this case equal to the refresh rate) can be either implied by the context or specified in hertz after the letter p. The five 720p frame rates in common use are 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz (or frame/s). In general, traditional PAL and SECAM countries (Europe, Australia, much of Asia, Africa, and parts of South America) are or will be using the 25p and 50p frame or field rates, whereas traditional NTSC countries (North and Central America, Japan, South Korea, Philippines) are using 24p (for movies), and 60p for high motion programming. All variants can be transported by both major digital television formats, ATSC and DVB.
