Disclaimer: Not really scuffgate as this is purely my fault - just wanted to share
Dropped my naked black iPhone5 from chest level on to a hard floor. I'm guessing it landed on its side because whilst the screen is okay, there is a massive chip/nick/ding on the chamfer. I guess that's why people use a case. Anyone tried covering these marks up with a marker pen? |

It's still noticeable, definitely, as it's not 100% colour matching, and you can feel the dent if you run your finger along the area, but good enough for me. |

arghh.. My iphone 5 screen is cracked. very obvious on the edges!!! I cant really remember how it cause. Maybe I dropped it on floor last week but I attached spigen casing since 1st day. T.T iphone 5 screen so easy to crack?? How can i fix it? Is warranty covered? some one help me plz.. T.T

got my ip5 from maxis, and as expected, there are scuffs on d black ip5. and as expected, they tell me cosmetic defect is not covered. even told me to come back in 2 days and say that the battery is hot to send for warranty. plus it will take 2 weeks and there's no guarantee i'll get a perfect 1.
so well, i guess my vote goes to 'No, but don't care, just use it'. cheers |

I recommend the black marker pen (posted in the 1st page) to my fren. She actually went and bought one in MPH @ the Curve and use it touch up the little scuff
I dare say it looks quite good and from far can hardly tell it has been touched up. Unless you point a light source close to the applied area, then it'll show some shiny/glossiness but it is really hardly noticeable This post has been edited by jesseblue: Feb 10 2013, 03:23 PM |

My first unit got scuffs and dead pixels, Celcom give 1 to 1 exchange within 7 days.
My second unit no scuffs but got scratch on screen, if want to change again need to wait 1 month. But one thing surprise me is that my cat play with it and drop it to the floor from table (drop direct to tiles, no carpet), nothing happen to the phone & I did not put any casing to the phone. The rattling sound i notice is when you laid your phone on surface and it's normal because the lense of the camera which has some movement for focusing purposes.  But shaking the phone got rattling sound?  |
