Lets say in this scenario

FSP Hexa 500w @ Rm149

Xigmatek Go Green 600w @Rm149 (Brand new but no warranty)

Which will give perform better? I dont really mind about warranty cos i'll be sleeving it and i will have to open the insise since its non modular. And i will be voiding the wattanty anyway.
*
I'd rather get the FSP one, despite the lower wattage... I can't really trust a 600W PSU at that price range...
From what I've known, the Hexa 500W is internally similar to the Antec VP450, but with an APFC circuit.

Its originally not Rm149 for the Xigmatek 600w. Its a promotional price. Market price should be around 300+ if i've not mistaken

Not sure asking on correct thread or not.
I am wondering does Sleeving a Seasonic X660 void the warranty, its f ull modular and not changes is done to psu but only to the cable.

Do we need to send it the cable as well if there is a need of RMA.

How much safe headroom wattage recommended? 100W is enough?

From what I remember, only the power supply itself needs to be sent for RMA hmm.gif.

The plus point of some of Corsair's power supply is that they offer a warranty period that's longer than the OEM's coverage, e.g the Corsair AX650 versus the Seasonic X-650/660, with 7 years and 5 years of warranty respectively. You don't exactly have to drop your support just because they don't produce power supplies themselves smile.gif.

If you're looking to get your power supply to run at its highest efficiency, usually around 40% ~ 60%, then get a power supply that has about double the amount of the power your system takes at peak, though unnecessary since the efficiency difference won't be justified with the extra cost that is incurred.

To prevent any possible overloading scenarios, then about 100W should be enough under peak. If you want to be even safer then go with larger capacity power supplies for more headroom.

Usually that safety headroom following the label of PSU or total of 12V rail? As per "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator" my system need at least 408W. My PSU is "CM Real Power PRro 550W". It's +12V rail only 432W...is it still safe coz my system rarely use 100% load...
