I dont think so as any sudden death can be repaired free of charge at service centre. I think they wanna upgrade to Nexus4

My phone is rooted and running Andriod Revolution HD 16. Working very nicely and smoothly, until...

I've recently discovered that my GPS is taking forever to lock my position. And once it does, sometimes it can run for a good 10mins, and then disconnects.

I can't tell if the problem came from this rom or from a drop on my phone last month. Any advice if it's a hardware problem? I do plan to upgrade this rom just to make sure that it's working.

Yesterday just try out SiyahKernel S3 v1.8.6, it was fantastic! Loving it really much!

• The most important great screen display, it seems all banding issue was gone! I believe is due to it mDNIe Sharpness Tweaks.

just want to check with u guys, if we install custom rom and kernel, than our phone encounter sudden death, so, did SC accept the phone? because the phone is modified.

Just dun let them know..... warranty should be ok .. anyway when sudden death, they also cannot switch "on"

+1... not able to see what inside how to know rooted or else..

Previously mine was rooted and running Omega Rom, one month back I have faced this Sudden Death of my S3.. Went to PJ SC, they just took it and replaced new MOBO FOC.. but waiting for almost 3 weeks ++ to get back my set..
No stock I guess..

Got mine for RM155.
