you downloaded from the xda server? or Rom cook? iI downloaded one from zda server, try to flash it. done flashing, when it reboot, it will stick at the galaxy s3 boot  =. = need to re flash to stock firmware tow recover my phone.

OTA or kies update better?

every time i flash new rom, the stupid MediaServer stay awake for hours...... MCH!

Just sent my S3 to samsung SC @ federal highway this morning.

Problem : 2 hairline cracks

Result : Warranty claim successful.

The guy who served me was very very nice surprisingly, i just told him that the cracks came out suddenly few days ago and it's a common problem.

He didn't say much and just told me that he will be able to claim warranty for me as "LCD faulty" as exterior damage is not covered by warranty or something like that.

Gonna take at least 3 working days to be done. Anyway I'm really happy about it.

woow! almost 2 months didn't come here and i heard 4.1.2 is out for other country so bro from sammobile there are 3 versions of 4.1.2 released as below, so my questions is.

1. I am now 4.1.1 (unroot), so can i use any of these? I guess A the latest right?
2. User Download Odin3 v3.04 to flash?
3. ROM offer by SAMMObile is not rooted one, right? cause i don't want to root my phone.
4. Once i flash any of the following using PC Odin do i need to do factory reset? Anyway i will backup first.
5. Will be signal like phone and data affected by other country Modem?
6. If i flash following using ODIN do i consider void  my phone warranty?

I really2 want to get rid of all the samsung's bloatwares but since my phone is only a few days old i don't want to root it yet. is there any other way to get rid of bloatwares without rooting?

1. Flashed other country ROM may void
2. I want my warranty but i also want 4.1.2

needed.. just rooted my S3 and also flash it to a new ROM. Steps that I did are as followed:

1) Rooted my phone by following this thread --> here
2) Backup stuff with CWM + installed Titanium backup and back all user apps + system data
3) Perform a full wipe (i.e. wipe data, cache, and Dalvik Cache) by following the thread above
4) By using odin, flash this ROM
5) Setup device and install Titanium backup, and choose the following restore --> "Restore missing apps + all system data.

Current issue having is when on mobile data, sometimes switching from Wifi to data the icon are not showing at the notification bar that is the "H", even though the "Mobile Data" is being checked.

Will need to active airplane mode and deactive airplane mode to get the data connected and showing in the notification bar. (might need to do multiple time)

Advise please...
