The colored lid should be ready within this week but we are trying to make the best finishing (strict QC) and that isn't easy, that process increases the lead time.

Appreciate your understanding and we will try to ship your orders as soon as possible.

Well at least it will come at the best of quality then I guess it's worth the wait... nod.gif

If I'm not mistaken my spec says metallic black finish so I guess it might be glossy...

Wow I've just noticed that you also chose metallic black as lid color...maybe Illegear should include black as one of the color option in the website...seems to be a popular choice... nod.gif

since it uses automotive coating, suggest you use polishes and waxes for automotive ones. it can protect your white colour from turning yellow or dirty while can last for 12 months each application.

As the finishing is said to be automotive clear coating, it stands out that you can use car wax to apply to it.

Unless it is not full automotive coating

Yes, car waxes. It does use the same type of finishing as those used in cars. Wonder if yours is coming soon, those pictures on their Facebook could very well be yours.

Huge amount of pre-order and colored lid announcement are the reason of delay, we will try to fulfill the 5 to 10 business day lead time.

The next batch of delivery will be faster than first batch.

THe RE series is based on clevo backbone and Similar to the A series of XMG. There's a temp chart here. Since they use the same spec and barebones it should be accurate.

i remembered that it is an extra add on if you want the fingerprint, and of course at a cost.

Prince J correct me if im wrong.
