I hope the product delivers it's stand. As much as I am unfamiliar with clevo and sagers archetypes I hope it's ad good as it sounds.

Not designed to be fancy but all those tech specs makes it a beast.
I wonder if the re15 is lighter than it looks coz it shod weigh around 2.7kg.

you should see the upcoming RE-13 (clevo w230st), the design is pretty fancy, and it looks really cool..

Yea. That one's good but too bad I'm aiming for 15 inc illegear.

Review for the clevo based laptops. They are actually similar to re-15.

I am a student so re15 takes the cake for me. No changes except ic diamond and dual channel 4gb rams.
Rm 3817 coz I skipped the os. ( thanks to a dear friend who shared an extra key from his company).
The first thing that I will do is show it off to my friends, let them criticize me how normal this laptop looks for the price then give them a good benchmark wake up call by playing games they'd die to play at ultra.

4gb is quite low for some of the new OS. if you are going to use your HDD as RAM also is ok.

But my recommendation is to change it to 8gb and turn off the file page system.

4gb Dual channel?= 4gb +4gb= 8gb ram
8gb single vs 4+4gb faster

Wow too bad I don't have a budget for that yet.
Just curious though, with that budget you should be close to buying the RS15 though but I guess raw specs comes 1st huh.

thanks guys for the wish.. really appreciate it... biggrin.gif

i plan to get RS-15 as well at first, but the price jump is pretty high.. haha.. so a bit stingy on myself during making the decision... lol
*
Yea me too kinda stingy. Price jump for double separate vent and heat sink for cup and Gpu and backlit keyboards.
But man, I really hope the future re series supports backlit keyboards. That would be AWESOME but anyways good job on introducing the New automobile lid paints. rclxms.gif

not a problem for me when it comes to upgrade. i only choose parts that only improve my gaming performance, which CPU and RAM is out of the line.

yes, and by the time, i will personally choose a tablet PC and a heavy laptop. tablet PC as a back up and work usage, heavy notebook for gaming.

I pretty much think upgrades are not necessary unless it breaks down especially for the re series with the gpu soldered. You can save up for a new one in 3 years anyway unless you're worried about losing out in the trend. laugh.gif Though upgrading the cpu might not be too costly.
