USB OTG not only an option for external storage but also has a lot of benefit for you e.g: save you time from just copy and paste from external storage , anywhere with an external storage you can just plug and play the file/music/video you want to , option for transfer from computer, without the need to be connected to a PC.

So we can't tranfer any file from computer, e.g. mp3, video or picture to nexus 4? Actually what's the difference between USB OTG and USB cable? |

Google edited the online support yesterday, stating that no usb otg will work: http://support.google.com/nexus/bin/answer...09758&ctx=topic If you want to control over mice & keyboard, get the one with bluetooth connection. Why? [Hardware] because the device cannot supply 5 volts to USB. Solutions: 1) get a wi-drive (Kingston wi-drive)(Cost more and drain battery even faster on phone and the drive) 2) return to google and get full refund. **Yes you can get full refund, because it was advertised to be having the function, google's fault. in theory, there's a third solution, but no one has tried and confirmed about that: 3) wait for devs to come out a custom kernel to work it out [software], you will still need to power up the USB flash drive with a external power source [hardware] What do you need? - a microUSB Y cable (male-female) - a external power source (e.g portable charger) MicroUSB Y cable (male-female) ![]() This post has been edited by pu27: Dec 9 2012, 08:27 PM |

QUOTE(arafat @ Dec 9 2012, 09:40 PM) are you kidding? of course i already check before i ask here If I remembered correctly, ...googleplay-noreply@google.com what is the email address to enquiry about my purchase, anyone? Log in to play.google.com - click settings on top right, then my orders. On your nexus 4 purchase, click help, you will be presented with a few options. However, this is usually an automated email response only. If you can't access the help options, connect to vpn and click help again as Google Devices help menu may not be made available to regions where google devices are not sold. To create an issue ticket, you have to call the number listed in your order form. Speak to the CSR about your complaints and they will issue you a ticket number, and an email address which you can send directly to the individual CSR. You can use Skype or VoIP telephony to call if you have some credit balance |
