Who knows. What I realized is that LG Mobile Singapore have been kicking the ball to the telcos, they have responded some nexus 4 related posts with this "availability of the Nexus 4 in Singapore will be announced by the telcos at the appropriate time. Thank you."
They are hinting that they won't be selling it in their store instead only the telcos will be selling either with plan or without.

I'm afraid that the same goes to LG Malaysia.

Anyway I ordered mine from Play Store, still waiting for the bumper case.
Does anyone know will I be taxed if both the nexus 4 and bumper case come in the same shipment?

I think you'll still get taxed by SIRIM.that is for the phone not the bumper.

Thx. I know it has to get sirim approval and smartphone is not taxable but my question is what if customs detain the shipment saying that the bumper case is taxable end up the whole shipment is taxable? Could this happen?

Many were able to buy with their international credit cards issued outside US, and their local addresses.  But take note of this, google does not charge u until items are shipped, they only do a verification for the amount (much like hotel policy)

From xda forum, some international buyers cards were flagged and verification required when google found discrepancies between their profile address and credit card's address.  Some manage to get thru. So, it's your luck.

Still getting account suspension even having the card's billing address changed to US? How's that, I thought this will work. I'm worry.

My nexus 10 is cleared and already shipped to hopshopgo warehouse.  Only my nexus 4 is pending and as explained by google CSR, was due to my order being stuck in some error loop together with most other 1-2 week timeframe orders.  As of yesterday, still not shipped yet although he says my order looks ok and being processed.

My amex credit card billing address is also registered to US.

My guess is that since google only charges when items are ready to ship, they run a verification process on international credit cards before they charge the card.  This could be random as only some were affected.  If discrepancy exists e.g. Address, then the order is flagged.

Added on December 8, 2012, 8:08 pm

Log in to your google wallet.  If you are greeted by an account verification page, you will be required to submit some identification documents to google for verification.  Submit your credit card statement with the US billing address. Wait 24-48 hours and your account will be ok
*
My acc is still not affected, just that I'm worried like you said when google starts to verify when they are ready to ship.
I think I wont be able to recover the acc if got suspended, cause I just changed the billing address to US address recently just to purchase the nexus 4. I only have online statement and even if I have paper statement they will be all in M'sia address. sigh.

One of the serious downsides of Nexus 4 I found is the lack of USB OTG function, first I feel ok to hear that it doesn't have memory card slot, a USB OTG cable less than RM3 will solve this pretty easily, just use a USB storage instead.
Then users reported the function doesn't work, none of them work even keyboard and mice, many believed that it could be solved with a software update because on the user guide page 43 of nexus 4 clearly stated that function is there.
There was hope, and now google took it away, read article below:
http://www.droid-life.com/2012/12/07/nexus...-never-have-it/

I can't believe they left out this basic and important function, purposely? sad.gif

So we can't tranfer any file from computer, e.g. mp3, video or picture to nexus 4?  shocking.gif

Actually what's the difference between USB OTG and USB cable?

Added on December 9, 2012, 8:25 pmIt seems like there is something to do with both hardware and software.

Google edited the online support yesterday, stating that no usb otg will work:
http://support.google.com/nexus/bin/answer...09758&ctx=topic
If you want to control over mice & keyboard, get the one with bluetooth connection.

Why?
[Hardware] because the device cannot supply 5 volts to USB.
"Mako cannot supply 5V" (Mako is the other name of N4) > https://android.googlesource.com/device/lge...24df4%5E%21/#F0

[Software] kernel was disabled because of that.

Solutions:
1) get a wi-drive (Kingston wi-drive)(Cost more and drain battery even faster on phone and the drive)
2) return to google and get full refund. **Yes you can get full refund, because it was advertised to be having the function, google's fault.

in theory, there's a third solution, but no one has tried and confirmed about that:
3) wait for devs to come out a custom kernel to work it out [software], you will still need to power up the USB flash drive with a external power source [hardware]
What do you need?
- a microUSB Y cable (male-female)
- a external power source (e.g portable charger)

MicroUSB Y cable (male-female)

thanks for the review, watched a few long comparison on utube about the nexus4 vs s3 and the s3 seems to top it everytime. for me i dont mind a little flaw, if the price is good. still gonna be way better than my dino-ifon3g

aite thx for the info~
hope it does arrive around christmas time as said in LG's fb page
im just worried about the price
cry.gif
*
yea same here, for that price, a lil flaw is totally fine for a nexus. drool.gif
I doubt that LG will sell it below RM1500 and they probably let telcos to launch it instead.

I'll just place the order at play store 1st, by the time LG launching I will still have a choice whether to cancel the order or not since google ships it in 6-7 weeks. The only concern of that would be warranty issue.

Assuming that's 2kg, i mean 3 units, should be less than that.
Have not used them before, anyone who brought in mind telling us how much is the forwarding costs?

You use us based credit card to buy ?
No, I use maybank visa. Changed the billing address to US based.

QUOTE(irenic @ Dec 13 2012, 01:53 PM)
although the lcd construction is like iphone5, and most reviews said the irresponsive touch screen happens on both, I must stress it's much more serious on nexus 4.

and I'm not and never an iPhone die hard fan.

Seriously that bad?

Don't think it's an issue. You can always buy for others. Recipient can always be someone else. Google only wants to verify your credit card billing address, not shipping address.
*
Would there be an issue if I use a M'sia issued card with US billing address?

actually I bought a usb hub with 5V power support
but it is very troublesome coz i need a special adapter for it
since we all carrying usb head for power supply, y not use it

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

note: this model hv microusb male head, but not an otg
---
special kernel??
i tot the special kernel is actually for data + charging... hemm  hmm.gif
*
It was disabled by google since N4 cannot supply 5v, so we need some dev to enable it.
This usb hub should work provided it supplies 5v.
