QUOTE(kaneshiro21 @ Jan 3 2013, 11:16 PM) if you're member then it's 10% cheaper I guess the pricing there will be similar in other local malls/ TRU when they reach there.if not basically the same price listed in their website http://brickboytoys.blogspot.com/ what i find weird is there is no ALJ sticker. does that mean they import themselves btw, the speedorz CARDED priced at 99.90 is at an ALARMINGLY NEW LOW in LEGO for unlicensed set. reference: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=70103-1 priced nearly rm100, but just 93 parts. that's more than RM1 per piece. OMG. How can it be justified. |

QUOTE(kaneshiro21 @ Jan 3 2013, 11:34 PM) wrong link.. the rM 99.90 is this link (comes with two bike) oh thanks for correcting. but still <100 parts though. I dont see the appeal of the bikes (just one plastic + wheel).http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=70113-1 but also the same piece count which is 92 It remind me of last year Dino sets. One big plastic Trex + 480 pcs = rm3xx (70 sen per piece?) . If I want to play with dinos.. I can buy cheap rubber ones from other brands ... http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=5886-1 ps: I was planning to hit Tropicana mall just now after receiving Chima availability.. but then I change my mind.. perhaps tmr nite . just wanna grab a set to end the weekdays with a bang, This post has been edited by alanyuppie: Jan 3 2013, 10:41 PM |

Last time the Ninjago carded sets with 1 minifig, the spinner and stuff is also very expensive, so stuff like these always have terrible price to piece ratio. The single speedroz is RM 69, not sure if it is expensive or not. It remind me of last year Dino sets. One big plastic Trex + 480 pcs = rm3xx (70 sen per piece?) . If I want to play with dinos.. I got the Brickboy card so it was RM 179. First time I used the card in YEARS. |

what i feel is when they start using "new" molds or introduce new stuffs.. the pricing is always slightly higher compare to those using standard blocks.
most probably they want to get back their investment speaking of thunder tank. ![]() src from : http://franchii-manchii.deviantart.com/art...rcats-111057797 it sure brings back old memory This post has been edited by kaneshiro21: Jan 3 2013, 10:52 PM |

btw, I never seen CARDED toy costing rm100 before. I though most toys when priced at rm80 or rm90.. deserve a nice looking box.

I can't pull the trigger myself when I saw the single speedorz at rm69,90.
Ninjago single spinner sells at rm34,90 the last time. Hope my kids don't watch any chima cartoons or I'll go broke. |

i'm liking Chima 70000 and 70004 only.
i think the overall design of these sets are not as appealing as some of those awesome Ninjago vehicles. This post has been edited by acougan: Jan 3 2013, 11:27 PM |

I've just started storing mine in ziplock bags from Daiso, think I will switch to this in the futurei found this online, seems like a good way to store all of them in a binder/ring file/clear holder not sure if anyone got a better idea? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Jan 3 2013, 09:05 PM) It sure is.
