chill out bro  icon_idea.gif

my initial idea was to have our community here helping each other in getting lower price of any set you want.
so i thought it would be good any we can share any seller that we have deal before (of course buying at your own risk).

yep and i usually report good deals from my scouting here....

there is NO secret nor the purpose of keeping one. The BL search feature allows search by "best price". from the search result... we can knock ourselves out choosing cheapest/preferred seller and what else he has to offers that rocks our sampan.
as for personal recommendations... I have a dozen and no specific "favorite". Even if I mention lets say seller "XXX" my favorite, that seller might not offer what others are looking for (maybe he specialising on parts, not set.. or certain themed sets).

part of the fun in LEGO as a hobby is the scouting/searching online or in shops, rather than "direct me immediately to what I want." . I cherish every moment until the parcel came/unboxing, and assembly .  I heard some got the kicks from admiring stacked MISB toy boxes against the wall tongue.gif

My point, exactly. What secrets are there to be had if BL is already a very much open market-like place? And it has ALWAYS been that way. Everything there are already all sorted out properly according to their prices and stuff. And the inventory for each shop changes very frequently - some on a daily basis, others possibly even faster. The only way to even shop effectively there is subjective to each person's preference. Whichever person you feel comfortable and confident buying from, that's your recommended seller right there.

i still owe u all a lot of thanks n gratitude

actually i dont mind saying which seller i have bought, but then i dont get anything from them

furthermore,i think our garage sales there got many nice seller.
that should be the first place to go before going to BL.
good one

yup..its true..i was surveying for the 79003 unexpected gathering from BL price & local price..after considering the shipping cost + shipping duration, i prefer our local seller price which is within the range biggrin.gif

okay guys,
let's move on and try not to spark the old fire up. smile.gif

so regarding BL sellers, I think i can recommend these 2 sellers.

1) http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=adachochow (HK)
- bought once, good seller free postage but with Paypal Fee.

2) http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=legoappie (Holland)
- didn't purchase before but based on the store layout and also the ZERO (0) complain, looks convincing, should be reliable! smile.gif

Cheers!

sometimes, we need some spark to fire-up things.
anyway, i hope no one get offended here, we are just a gang of people with same hobbies.
the community is small here, so its good that we can help each other.

I think that is better to buy local if the price not beza banyak.
As u ll need to bear a lot of risk order from other country....payment issue, delivery issue, box condition issue.
Everyday worried anything happens to the parcel. its not feeling good. blink.gif

Buying online also depends on luck and buying on normal postage are mostly a gamble. As for me, I usually opt for Reg Mail so that I have a number to track and trace.

Well if you buy in bulk and share postage within items, it's sometimes cheaper compared to getting it locally.
But to me the expensive part of buying online is actually the postage itself.

just to add on, when u search for something, look for cheapest price rather than from any particular sellers. Every seller might change their product price from time to time, whether up or down.
For example, seller A has item 1 at the lowest price of US50, the following month seller A up price to US55 while seller B lists it for US49. If u search for seller A thinking he still is the cheapest, then u will have lost out.
