i was previously using Digi and jumped to Maxis... and trust me, in terms of speed Maxis > Celcom > Digi

In speedtest,
Highest i ever got for Digi which is once in a blue moon is 1.4mbps.. usually average i only get 30kbps - 300kbps

Maxis highest i ever got was 7mbps!!! comparable to unifi lol, average i usually get 4-5mbps..

Still beats celcom and umobile speed from what i've seen from the others =)

and the best part is
"RM0: Great news for mobile internet users on 1GB & above plans. Effective 3/12/12, upon exceeding your plan quota, you may continue browsing at a reduced speed for FREE as we have removed the RM0.30/MB charges. However, to enjoy browsing at a regular speed, we recommend you purchase a quota upgrade by dialling *136*9#"

When choose telco consider which place you spent most your time and are
U relying most on data for Internet or most of time on uniifi
I never get below 1000 Kbps since I bought note 2 two months ago
Using digi. Check overall cost of data plan, phone calls, SMS
If your friend stays near your place check what speed he is getting
On his telco
What may be good for bros here may not be the same for you

I'm usually around PJ, KL area which is supposed to be the hotspot for all Telcos, so yeah Digi do suck. And if you are talking about coverage, everyone knows Digi sucks compared to Maxis. I even get SMS of miss calls in KL/PJ when i didn't even get any incoming alerts.

GUYS...

for CELCOM the mobile internet speed stated can go up to 3.6mbps, regardless  1 GB or 3GB..

for DIGI regardless dataplan 1GB 3GB 5GB, average Speeds up to 700kbps

so which is better choice CELCOM / DIGI... is that celcom really can go up to 3.6mbps ?

any user here for both telco ? i planned to take SGNote 2... but not sure which TELCO is good deal.. since mobil internet using is my main concern..

need advise pls..
*
Hmm..I got high speed whenever I am in a city, KL, JB, Sungai Petani..sometimes 5-14MBps. Maxis? wont be using them anymore as got bad past experience.

QUOTE(antt00 @ Dec 2 2012, 09:39 AM)
Isn't maxis set just another sme unit. Its not like they make it themselves or special order from somewhere.  doh.gif

Its just luck lar, i have no problem with my maxis set. Maybe cos maxis more popular now with cheaper data plan so there is more people buying from maxis thus u just hear more issues from maxis.

Don't think so, max file per transfer is 4GB and below if not mistaken.

MAXIS voice 50 + data 3GB 68 = 118
CELCOM voice 40 + data 3GB 58 = 98

basically we pay that voice plan for nothing, unless we reach the quota always.. believe most of us less reaching that voice.. since already talking via wssup, skype and chatting on dataplan..

how nice if they set pay per use, like DIGI.. so we dont waste money on their fixed voice plan..

ya i agree mobile internet speed wise, MAXIS rules followed by CELCOM.. both anywhere can get coverage..
i dont understand what P2P some talking about here, is that downloading movies or something ?

The fact he added uv to normal version kinda made ultimate version nothing special apart from bus uv and no exfat support. Our did i miss something cos never follow redpill some time now.
