Just curious, any of you using K9 mail? It is so annoying as the new version FCs a lot.

I am using paid version n never face FC at all even ina all custom rom's

Its main benefit over S3 is slicker UI, insanely better battery performance at least twice S3, very much cooler operating temperature n of course S Pen

It happened to mine when using wifi..but only on 4.1.2

Scratch is one thing. Crack is another (obviously from dropping it as this phone is bigger than normal and thus have a higher tendency to drop ). If you think you can be a very careful person then i dun see any issue. Up to u to use cover or not.

If you dun want to use screen protector you can try one of those flip casing. Gorilla glass only have high resistant to scratching not totally immune to it.

ads? you believe in those ads? it won't easily scratch but it WILL scratch if there is a tiny bit of sand particle scratching on it.

it all depends on how risk adverse you are. If you are a careful person who think accident will not happen to your Note II, try naked as you wish. But base on the "high" number of drop "test" performed by our fellow users which resulted in cracked screen for some, i won't bet on it. And most of them will get a full cover asap to cover it after the repair, so at the end should have cover their precious Note on day 1.

I've been a user just for 2 weeks now.

Do you guys realize/notice/think the battery performance drop over time?
for instance, I left the phone over night after charge with everything off (wifi, data and etc) just on standby mode, it burns 5% overnight now, used to be 2% or 3% previously when I first got the phone. but the battery is still good lar no doubt.

By the way, I'm on stock rom and kernel.

Battery does not deplete so fast lar. Its caused by some app. After 1 month i m still getting 1% drop overnight all wireless off but running scheduled tb and sms backup.

any idea how to look for the culprit? I tried closing all tasks already, by using the "stock" thingy, with a long hold on the home button to kill all the inactive tasks. how ar.

Can try and use betterbatterystats to check if there is any unnecessary wakelock.

found one bug in Monxdified ROM 4.1.1 and not sure does this happens to 4.1.2 or not. i set Vibrate+sound/Vibrate under the quick setting and after reboot the phone, it will change to sound only.
Can someone verify whether this happen to 4.1.2?

Is this the modified 15 toggle buttons or stock toggle buttons. Stock toggle for me only have sound - vibrate - silent. There is no sound+vibrate.

If it is the stock toggle you can add it. But if its the modified 15 toggle then dunno .

The list of tweaks is very meh and might not be optimize for all device. Plus most of these tweaks you can get it from custom rom/kernel that had been specifically tweak for your device. Just my opinion.
