Hi everyone. Bought a bunch of cases and will be testing them out periodically. The first case I'm using now:

Body Glove Protective Cover



Pros:
Nice hard rubber material ... not too sticky, not too smooth
Grippy texture makes it nice to hold
Funky yet still professional looking, I didn't get funny looks in meetings at work
Can't find it in Malaysia

Cons:
Errrr ... expensive?

Bought two of these but the wife doesn't like it ... too manly it seems. If anyone's interested, I'm selling the other one. Please PM me if you'd like more details.

Slightly cheaper than that. I tried looking for a link but can't find. Seems they sold out this particular design and am not producing it anymore.

omega with redpill not bad...

idling:

wifi - all sync on for email (30mins), RSS (30mins), Weather (hourly), SNS (30mins) : ~1.5% / hour
3g - all sync on for email (30mins), RSS (30mins), Weather (hourly), SNS (30mins) : ~3% / hour

Actual use:

1+ hour screen on with all sync on for email (30mins), RSS (30mins), Weather (hourly), SNS (30mins) : after 9 hours left 64% : 27% (3g standby) + 9% (screen on)

So if direct using the phone in 3g mean the note2 can last ~10 hours screen on... impressive

yet on what rom, stock rom also got a lot version

hey anyone updated antutu benchmark? i remember previously i was on average 8k with power save and 14k normal ...

now after the update from antutu, the benchmarking on power save 14k and normal at 18k

i saw ads bout note 2, it wont easily scratch

it tested in the ads

In this thread, several posts back, at least 2 people reported dropping and breaking the glass. So if you are butterfingers, get a nice case that covers all sides.
SP seems to be largely personal preference, but Gorilla Glass can be scratched by sand.

The Gorilla Glass 2 on Note2 is thinner than Gorilla Glass 1. A result of the "cheaper, faster, better' thinking. But in practice, you have to choose only 2 of the 3. Which 2 you get depends on your luck and how you drop it
