try
Intel Core i3 3220 RM349
MSI B75MA P45 RM229
Kingston Value RAM 1x8GB RM114
WD Blue 500GB RM169
Sapphire HD7870 RM799
FSP Hexa 500W RM149
Xigmatek Asgard Pro RM150
Lite-On 22x DVD Drive RM59
LG IPS224T RM419
Total: RM2437

Dota 2 is not a very graphical intensive game but since you wanted to play other 3D games, i assume those games like Hitman Absolution, FC3, MOHW etc etc, therefore i suggested the HD7870 which will give you decent frames on med-high settings

i3 is fine for gaming, but will suffer if high CPU requirement games comes in, such as Far Cry 3, Elder Scrolls Skyrim

i5 3470 RM564, i5 3570 RM614

as for chapalang brand casing, sure why not? as long as its ATX design

but dont expect good quality for it though, heard stuff like faulty button, too plasticky etc etc

hi guys, need some recommendation/comments on the following setup:

i5 3470
MSI z77a
4gb ram (plan to up to 8gb)
Asus HD 7770 Direct CU (fixed)
WD 500gb
cooler master rc311
xigmatek 500w
LG 1942C (19") monitor

- as the i5 cannot be oc, i've read that the mobo of z77 is quite useless right?
- budget wise: not too far from the above.
- i'm also offered a AMD setup of FX6100, MSI970A, rest the same. which is better? as i noe, intel is more power saving

Yes, i5 3470 cant be overclocked. Hence choosing a Z77 motherboard doesnt give benefit at all. How about considering another motherboard MSI B75MA-P45 which cost only RM229 and have sata 6.0gb/s port ready ?
