Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 RM564
Motherboard: Asrock H77 Pro4/MVP RM289
Hard Disk: Intel 330 Series/520 Series RM319
RAM: Kingston 8GB Value RM119
PSU: Enermax NAXN 550W RM215

How was this setup?
The 330 and 520 series warranty how long is the differences?
Motherboard Asrock brand good? Been using Asus motherboard for long time..
The below part I'll decide by own basing on my budget.

Graphic Card: Sapphire HD7770 RM399 / Sapphire HD7850 RM649
Casing: Corsair 300r - RM299 / Xigmatek Asgard Pro - RM150
Optical Drive: LiteOn DVD Writer RM60
*
Intel 330 series are cheaper than 520 series..by a LOT.
You can also consider Xigmatek Asgard 381 or Corsair Carbide 200R as a chassis..and FYI,Sapphire HD6870 is on a promotion rite now at Lingloong(Garage Sales).RM399 only..

QUOTE(Mr.CoMoT @ Dec 21 2012, 05:17 PM)
can recommend me super cheapest mobo 1155.. will using i5 3570k and OC it..

Asrock Z77 Pro4-M if i'm not mistaken..RM319-339.

Hi guys. Life is getting too dull for me. Plan to get a budget gaming rig to fill up the empty space. My budget is less than rm2000. Games that Im hopeful to play with be sleeping dogs, diablo3, gw2 and probably all the latest games without any hiccups. I already have my own monitor, a Samsung 23". After doing some research found this suggestion by tristanx.

Core i3 3220 - RM355
Asus P8Z77-M motherboard - RM339
Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 x1 - RM56
Sapphire HD7850 2GB DDR5 OC - RM719
WD Blue 500GB hard disk - RM174
Liteon DVD writer - RM60
FSP Hexa 500W power supply - RM149
Coolermaster Elite 431/Aerocool VS4 casing - RM149

Any input on this guys? Anything else that I should modify? I will probably be getting this rig at Penang island. Gonna try asking pc depot later, hope they got all the parts. Thanks in advance.

And Ive just learnt that Sapphire HD7850 has 2 types, one is 1gb another is 2 gb. Logical thinking the 2gb will be twice better than the 1 gb. So I should opt for the 2gb one even though I don't know anything about oc? (but will definitely improve gaming performance by a lot I suppose)

2gb is not twice better than 1gb. It will be slightly better if only u are using higher resolution. If u don't know anything about OC then u should take the OC version because its factory OCed so u don't need to do it manually

why the need for Z77 board though? the i3 cant be OCed, a B75 or H77 should do fine.. unless youre planning future upgrades to K variant CPU?

as for the card, add in another RM80 to RM799 for the HD7870, loads better then the HD7850

the rest seems fine

as for the RAM of GPU, if youre playing at bigger resolutions and like to have all the eye candies stuff, more RAM is better

Is that normal? As I can saw the stand is higher..

Apparently the 300R is built in such a way that motherboard standoffs aren't necessary, so it's no surprise that they didn't come with any. smile.gif Good anyway since it will help simplify installation, and also prevent any possible issue with loose motherboard standoffs.

I suggest better go to lingloong or Zhen Wei's shop, they will build it for you and their cable management skill is awesome, you can check on thier facebook.

Other than for first time motherboard driver installation, the discs aren't really important since the drivers included are usually outdated laugh.gif. If you're doing first time installation, and you don't have the motherboard disc and you don't have an extra computer at home, you may not be able to do much with your system since to connect to the internet you will need the LAN driver. The most important driver in the disc is usually the LAN driver, since you'll need that to connect to the net, and from there on you can go on to get the rest of the drivers laugh.gif. Without a GPU driver, your system should work as usual, except that you may not be able to set the monitor resolution properly, and also you may face random graphical lag.

Look at the inside picture, review. Asgard pro window have advantages where it has many tool-less bracket and window option.
