Thnx looks cheap..but wish to know if there's significant gain/performance increase if we go for o/c rig?
Why suggest ATi Radeon? heard lotsa stories about driver incompatibility on games using Crytek3 engine.

Yes,there is some performance increament if OC.But OCing are not neccessary,tho..it'll ripped the warranty summore..unless you know what you're doing.. smile.gif

Regarding the GPU,personally, that's the best bang for buck.About the driver, they can always update that from time to time until the driver can suits what's not..

It should be enough, based on what power supply Acer says the M7720 comes with ( 500W / 750W / 1000W ).

Alright! thanks. Question though, should I get the 2GB DDR5 HD7850 or 1GB edition for about RM100 cheaper? 1GB of RAM sounds like alot doh.gif

Actually by current standards, 1GB of VRAM is considered as little considering the amount of texture memory games demand nowadays. laugh.gif.

So 2GB it is then? Just because it's an OC edition doesn't mean it will be incompatible with my motherboard and PSU right? (as long as I don't OC la hahahha)

It will be compatible as long as your motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot and your power supply has enough power. smile.gif

Performance is the same for Xeon and i7, Xeon is cheaper because it does not has iGPU(which is weak and useless) and lack of ability to overclock.

Xeon = Price of i5 = i7's performance.

does Xeon tahan lasak means it's okay to running it 24/7? hmm.gif

Asking some recommendation from the sifus here: GAMING LAPTOP

[Budget] - less than 5k

[Purpose] - Most importantly must be able to play World of Warcraft at high (not ultra) settings.

[Hardware that will be reuse from old rig] - None. A desktop user since forever.

[Monitor resolution] - The best available and wont be obsolete so fast.

[Game or software that use frequently] - World of Warcraft. Barely any graphic intensive programs used.

[Personal Preference Brand] - Intel. WD. Asus.

[Location] - Petaling Jaya so yeah i can hop around KL for a tour and stuff.

Thanks sifus!

Of course, cuz it designed, optimized and built for those 3d software use. Only top level Quarto can give reasonable FPS in game.

Yeah, you could do that if Asrock B75M-DGS mainboard RM189 available. Else MSI B75M-P45 RM 229. You already have monitor right?

Have you put mobo spacer? Use direct plug, not extension?
