my HDD temperature maintain at 28'C  flex.gif  (CPUID HWMonitor), previously can rise until 35'C without intake fan. the airflow is good and blowing my HDD all the time.

The bitfenix Spectre LED didn't come with a 3-to-4pin molex connector.  blink.gif

Luckily I have 2 pcs extra the 3to4 molex connectors. It's not easy to get at my local computer shop. Have to custom order from niclasteoh.

Spectre 140mm are about Rm40 while Spectre pro 140mm are about Rm59, well the frame do kinda block the passage somewhat I suppose, they put it there to increase the rigidity of the inner frame because you can take the fan apart that way for modding purposes... LED versions are a bit tougher to do due to the LED wiring though tongue.gif
I checked that the Spectre 140mm is pwm.
How about non-pwm fans which are 140mm ?

there are Spectres 140mm and Spectre Pro 140mm that are not PWM, basically there are every version to every variety of the spectre, such as a PWM, LED, non-LED and the sizes from 120mm to 230mm.... the only question is whether if the shops have stock when you're planing to buy or not smile.gif

Anyone knows where i can purchase Noiseblocker?
APES had a thread on that but does not seem to be selling 140mm BlackSilentPro PK-3.

That package has the "Vibration-free installation without tools" looks better and hassle free compared to most fans out there that uses screws or rubber grommets (which i hate the most).

You could grab Enermax T.B. Vegas Trio. Has better airflow, got 3 color and multiple lightning styles. And easy to clean with detachable blades.

I'm not sure why many recommends Bitfenix fans but based on my experience, its difficult to clean. I owned several fans such as Enermax, Noctua, Fractal and Coolermaster, and found it easier to clean with Enermax detachable fans.

For your case, that is. but PWM fan are always better, PWM fan has no cold start problem, meaning you dont have to worry about your fan cant spin if the supplied voltage is too low. non-pwm fan may have already stop spinning.

Not sure for Enermax Cluster, I have 2 Cluster 120mm, tried on mine, it won't come out. Don't dare to put too much force in it otherwise spoil.
I also have Enermax Magma 120mm, that 1 easily come out compared to Cluster. Use very little effort to pop in and out.

I'm currently thinking of getting 3 140mm Enermax T.B Silence (Turbine instead of Batwing).
But could not get much info on it, whether its pwm or non-pwm. Not much review/benchmark for this fan. hmm.gif

According to their site: http://www.enermax.com/home.php?fn=eng/pro...a1&lv0=4&lv1=32
They have manual mode, 3pin and pwm version.
You can get the pwm version if your mobo is Asus that support AI Suite 2, so even pwm fan can be operate on voltage mode.

Starting from M5A99X i think, or any asus mobo that supported by AI Suite II, PWM fans can operate between voltage mode and PWM mode, that's one of PWM fan advantages, but when PWM fans operate at voltage mode, it will have cold start problem just like any other 3 pins fans.

Btw it's not something new, as pwm fan header have a fool-proof notch to let you insert it into 3 pins fan header tongue.gif

So i guess you r saying that 3pin non-pwm fan can also work on 4pin pwm header.. But in voltage mode the fan can work but the fan speed can't be controlled right?

Yeap, it works but it will spin at 100% duty on most regular mobo,
but latest Asus ROG mobo can auto detect whether if the fan is pwm or 3 pins, because it has a switch on the pwm fan header.
while Gigabyte mobo can change between PWM and voltage mode on BIOS, but i tried on their 890FX UD7 only, other mobo not too sure sweat.gif
