enetmax tb silence or aerocool shark fan

which is one is good and have long life expectancy ...^^
*
I'd go for the Enermax ones.. not because they last longer or anything but they are the better of the two IMHO and the Aerocool is such a pain to clean with the blades being so close to each other... they do look nice though tongue.gif

Aerocool preadator 1. Cpu cooler hyperx 101. And room temp im not sure. I guess 30++ since im living in malaysia without aircondition.
*
the Aerocool predator should have great airflow capabilities I guess, the Hyper 101 should still be a good HSF.. have you cleaned the Hyper 101? and have you checked the TIM? but on another note, 55C is still ok

I recently bought a cooler master blademaster xtraflo 120mm. It has 4 pin and i connected it to the 3 pin at the mobo. It seems to be spinning so slow. The min RPM is 900 & max is 2200. I cannot control the speed at all using any software because it didnt detect the fan. It only detects my front chasis fan and cpu fan. Can someone teach me how to increase the fan speed?
*
looks like a faulty header bro, it should come with a molex to 3-pin converter right?? run it on that for max speed wink.gif
***WARNING*** Running a 2200rpm fan in full speed will generate a hell lot of noise

I got two arctic f12 pwm fans, can anyone teach me how to correctly connect these fans together and make the PWM functions work so that my Smart Fan in the MoBo can work correctly where reaching certain temp the fan will trigger faster speed...And how to enable the speed reading of these both fans? thx, helpers biggrin.gif
*
connect 1st fan to 4-pin header on mobo
Connect 2nd fan to the 4 pin header that leads out from the 1st fan
Connect the yellow wire from the 1st fan to a 3-pin header to mobo
Connect the yellow wire from the 2nd fan to the 4 pin header that leads out from the 2nd fan
Done

For temp, it doesnt help much.
For looking, maybe Bitfenix spectre fans or other better looking fans.
*
I agree to this.. but the HAF-X should be a rather cooling chassis

QUOTE(4ddict @ Mar 8 2013, 02:28 PM)
temperatures.
sorry for bad english.
the 200mm fans at the top quite noisy already haha.
*
temps should not be that bad insede the HAF-X... mind posting a screenshot of HWMonitor? which component is not cool enough?

looking to replace a 140mm and a 120mm fan in my bitfenix shinobi. I'm already using 2 Xigmatek XSF-1252 and want to switch the above fans. I want something silent around the same as the xsf? 20 dBA.
*
You could try thr New bitfenix spectre pros, have 2 of em and they're fairly quiet for a 1200RPM fan wink.gif

Wondering why my F12 running in low RPM? How u guys configure it? It's necessary to pin the PWM as well?
*
Which version of the F12 you have? is it the PWM with PST? could you please describe how is the fan connected?

My F12 come with one standard 3pin connector and 1pin PWM connector.
*
The F12 PWM then.. if you plugged it into a 4-pin header then the mobo regulate the speed via PWM, the fan can go till 1400rpm but 800rpm is still okay providing the temps are not that hot

you could manually control the fan's speed with the mobo software

which case fan brand is the best? i m learning how to build a own pc, does it better than liquid cooling?
*
None, it depends on your budget, usage, color preferences, etc etc

and no it will never be better than water cooling in terms of temperatures but it is easier to maintain an air cooled pc

Any recommended super quiet 120mm fan? Not so expensive ones.. Couldn't get a good night sleep without turning off my PC..

Thanks!

you can opt for the Artic F12 for about RM25 each, good air pusher with minimal noise wink.gif

QUOTE(Duckies @ Apr 12 2013, 12:38 AM)
Hmm any recommendation for 14cm LED fans?

Enermax Vegas Duo and Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED nice anot?

If non LED,quiet type would be AC F-12...if a bit noisier but good CFM would be either Scythe GT 1850RPM or Noctua P12 laugh.gif

Let's say u got a NZXT Phantom 410 casing..which fan u will put inside?

For me:

Front and top: 140 mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED or Enermax Vegas Duo (Front intake and top exhaust)
Rear and side: 120 mm Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM (Rear exhaust and side intake)

This way can get both balance between CFM and noise as well as some bling bling from the LED tongue.gif What do you guys think?

EDIT:Btw,can LED from fans switched off? hmm.gif
*
Bot too sure of 140mm fans but the Bitfenix line sure looks promising, Would probably do 140mm all the way if the 410 is in my possession but maybe an LED strip would be advisable for bling bling, you could get the NZXT Hue for example

not all fans can have their LED turned off, The Bitfenix ones can be done but you'll need to pair it with a Hydra Pro or a compatible switch to do that
